  2. Hey, just though i`d say quality video, really wish i had been able to make it now! On another note, i am a bit quiet on these forums but usually check 2-3 times a day and have notice you are paying a fair bit for you limited bandwith, just wondering if you had considered letting these loose via Torrents, would save you all the hassle of your hosting fees and most people now have unlimited packages so there would be no problem for seeders. If your interested i can talk you through things a bit more both Torrent and Website wise (handy been doing websites for 6 years) and tell you whats possible. Even if the videos are only available in the evenings when people are home it still would mean they would be available daily and at no major cost to you. Just a thought. Ian
  3. Ah bugger, seriously wishing i had continued along, never mind just means you'll find me at more of these wonderful events

(ie, fast and loud) That was my first run too and lets just say i liked that pace and off course so did the police as they seemed to think our driving was legal and curtious how right they were.
  5. Ha Ha what a evening My hat has to come off to Pete, that was a damn fine choice of roads you picked their! I know i only sampled the first 70 odd miles but was magical Anytime you feel like doing that again just shout and i`ll be there! Sorry for ditching you guys early, just with weather and closeness to home i thought i`d call it a night. Hope the rest of the run was as fun as the first part. Was really good to meet all you folk, and the luvly machinery (yes including the little ignis which looked like it was doubling up as a mini bus on the evening!!) Gumball, next time i get to see that car i will remember my bloody camcorder i have to get a vid of you a. bouncing it off the limiter, what a sound!! and b. lauching out of a junction at a bloody great rate of knots!! was fantastic. 16. Just wondering if anyone could help me out please. Looking at getting some mudflaps for my classic. I would like some fairly rigid ones 2-3mm thick that dont move around much under driving. I think it was u Cal at the Fast and Modified show if it was its the type that are on ur car. (Sorry if i have the wrong person). Also hoping to get STi on them. Hope someone can help! Ian
  17. Evnin people. Ian here, sittin happy with my 97 WRX STi Type-RA Classic. Superb car, the feelings it puts in your stomach when you turn over that ignition is magical. I saved hard and worked hard and jumped from a taxi like mondeo straight to this and its been the best thing i`ve done all be it a bit more costly than i planned! 6 months into ownership i had the fatal big end failure so i had to scrimp and beg and get that sorted. Now 3 months into rebuild and all is looking good! (apart from the red figure on my account) ECU upgrade next once i can afford it. (Anyone got a second hand Apexi lying around??) The look that it gets when it grumbles through the town is great, you get people of all descriptions looking and pointing which i find amazing and theres the kids who you can hear shouting "wow nice car" and the such which call me a big kid is a very satisfying feeling to see others smile at something i put alot of hard work into. I even get the corsa guys sitting behind me as i pull away just cause they love the noise the car makes Then theres the driving, you just feel so connected, theres alot of feedback but also the car can tell you alot before something bad happens. Some may call us sad but they have no idea what they are missing out on! 1. GUMBALL ..............04 STI WR BLUE 2. WRXMANIA ...........03 WRX SILVER 3. 19. Nice one gumball, been reading your post leading upto this and was sitting waiting to see what the final outcome was gonna be. One word "Tasty" Just keep it on the black stuff Ian
  20. Cheers for the replies but i think i should have explained a bit better, i was actually meaning as in the working sensor for the guage and not the face. Just wondering what the pros/cons of a digital sensor or a mechanically operated gauge! Cheers Also anyone got any suggestions on the bushes etc? Ian
  21. Hey guys, just got car back from a little service and been told that my rear anti rollbar bushes are on their way out. So decided when i book her in gonna get as much done to uprating bushes and bars that i can afford. My main questions are what would i really need to do to a V3 STi Type RA? Also i`m looking at getting some gauges in, whats the pro/cons between going mechanical or digital? Cheers guys, appreciatte any and all comments. Thanks Ian
  22. When the engine is warm is seems to trickle out at a steady pace not "drip drip" as such. Once its cooled down it took 2.5 litres to fill back up again.
  23. Nobody got any suggestions?
  24. Just thought i would link to a bit of problem i`m having guys. Oh the Joys! Cheers Ian
  25. Anyone got any numbers for guys who can restore and paint wheels in the edinburgh area? I have a couple of numbers but need as many as possible so i can do some phoning tommorrow. Cheers Ian Another quick note: Arospeed RS GT alloys, what tyre is recommended for the 18" alloy, 215 on at the moment but they look like they are too small, will it be ok to put 225 on instead?
