Surely one of the techie types have an idea.

Silly question but are the fuel injectors colour coded,I have yellow ones which look like the 550cc injectors on sale from flat4online,but they should only be 440cc standard.Any ideas?

How important is a fuel pressure regulator when upgrading to a walboro 255lt fuel pump and andy F. td05 turbo?

I'm thinking of changing the bonnet scoop on my 99uk turbo for something that can grab more air to suit my new Helix TMIC. Anybody got any ideas,Does a new age STI scoop fit a classic bonnet? or will I need something aftermarket. cheers.

Nope generally wear a Tilley Hat. 2-Blue-tinted wraparound shades. Nope again, I wear Oakley titanium Prescription glasses. 3-Luridly coloured shellsuit. Only in a nightmare,normally wear bergaus,northface etc. 4-Member of Subaru Impreza drivers Club. YES and proud to be. 5-criminal No. We as a group are diverse and are somewhat insulted to be lumped into a category without any thought. Yeah I'll have to think it through because I want a quite conservative remap to save my gearbox, clutch etc and will go for the 550's if I mod any further

gordy, cheers mate but the APS TMIC is out because it won't fit the 99 without modification,so I've ordered a helix one.but thanks anyway

See I've already got the decatted up and down pipe and I'd forgotten about it,I'm told my 440 injectors should cope ok with everything

I've just purchased an Andy forrest TDo5 16G,a new large capacity TMIC,a walboro fuel pump,APS cold air induction kit,have got to order a fuel pressure regulator ,find someone to fit the turbo and then get Andy F to remap it.Now can anyone tell me what I've forgotten because I always manage to.

Not to sure money andy F reckoned a good 320 bhp using this turbo,sti7/8 intercooler and aps induction kit .Personally I want to keep the top mount intercooler setup so will use a aps setup I think but one that is a direct bolton for my car.As for cost I was thinking no more than £1000 fitted for all the bits I need.

Hi mate,Yeah I was watching that intercooler as well but I think I will go for the APS topmount setup ,but I'm not sure weather to keep my standard airbox(with K&N) or go for the aps cold air induction kit.Once it's sorted I want Andy F. to do the Tek3 remap.so a weekend in scotland may well be on the cards.

That's the problem Rash I've become attached to my lump of metal,but it's still brilliant to drive and I know all of it's niggles.So how do I get 300bhp approx and good torque by modding.Or just buy a P1 which is supposed to be brilliant(but then do I start wanting to uprate it).This is for once a nice dilemma to be in.

I'd still go for the F1's just make sure they are the extra load ones rated 91y which are 615kg loading.

About 265 bhp and 250 torque at 17 psi.

Over the last couple of years I've gently modified my car ,re map exhaust ,brakes, AST suspension etc, but now I've decided I want more power.so here's the question do I sell my car and spend £8000-9000 and buy a mint P1 or go down the more modding route and keep my own much loved impreza.Any views would be welcome.
