well? did this tepid guy turn up in his audi or what. we need some info mate.

saw this old thread a while back and on my way home via my local airfield I thought I'd have a go and managed 40 to 100 time of 7 seconds using 4th and 5th and my stopwatch. has anyone else tried this on their airfield?.

They do,Kev mentioned them to me when i went up there and he showed us around his aladdins cave, but There's only a few flakes missing so for the time being I'll try a touchup job.

it's funny but you would think there would be something about as this seems to happen quite often with the red manifolds.[]

Some of the red paint on my manifold is starting to come off,does anyone know where I can get some touch up paint? cheers

to be honest most of us aren't too bothered about the motorway speeds he achieved, but how do you justify his speeds on 30mph roads.Don't forget in this day and age a helicopter is never far away if required . I live locally to the area and know that they are always using the helicopter (normally to spot speeding motorcyclists)so there no justification other than the adrenalin rush you get when you go way past what's safe.

Who cares how fast this bloke was going on the motorway.At 3am it's very quiet there's crash barriers and any traffic on there is going in the same direction,so if he got into trouble in all likely hood only he would be involved. what no one seems to mention is that this prat was doing 83mph in 30mph zones around the built up telford area ,now that is more important and deserved to be made more of,but of course 160mph grabs headlines.

Ac!D Hi mate, it's got a EJ25 bottom end and all sorts of engine mods inc oil cooler ect, td05/06 20g turbo,6 speed sti7 gearbox,hks twin paddle clutch loads of things,but you really should ask bob who's posted above because he had all the work done,all I'm doing is enjoying driving it about with a big silly grin on my face.[]

Exactly my thoughts,managed to scare the bejesus out of a new bmw 535D when he floored it and I sat behind him and started to close up,especially as this bmw is the beasty which has more grunt than the M5,how sweet is this torque[]

I'm not too sure really probably the weather!but the torque figure is more important anyway for everyday driving. by the way ,My painted spoiler should be arriving tomorrow so that will give me something to do over the weekend.

Went to scoobyclinic today for an oil change and a map tweek you wouldn't believe it but I've lost 20 bhp so I'm now down to a measely 362 bhp but I've now got 400 lb/ft of torque It's certainly rapid off the mark now
