  7. As I fully admit iam a mechanic novice, but would obvioussly like to get more into looking after the mechanical side of looking after my car. I was wondering as an idea if the forum could accomodate an how to section, with picture guides. For example How to change your Engine Oil, How to change your spark plugs. and then more advanced guides for the more mechanically minded. Is this something people would be intrested in or iam i the only one? Martin
  8. hmmm could be a good idea once ive cleaned them out to apply a fresh coat of underseal there as theres bit of blue chassis pecking through at the bottom Martin
  9. Cool will try the brillo pad andy, Just not on the graphics side, just to remove all the mud thats been kicked up onto the flaps. Lastly is all the black stuff on the arches sealer or dirt can i take that off ??? but that seem a bit tooo much cleaning for me Martin

  11. lol, Yes i will order the products tonight, and they will hopefully be here for sat and some intense wheel cleaning. Why can i be like Patrick Stewart and employ a wheel cleaner. Gus show me how it's done :-) your wheels were sparkling. Martin
  12. My Plans for the wheels were to :- 1. Poorboys Spray & Rinse Cleaner to work all the junk off the back 2. Clay Bar the Wheel. 3. Poorboys wheel Wax 4. Nice Tyre SHine the tyre shine i used is autocleam tyre dressing as you can see is not very good. Martin

  16. Lol awww so thats what you were all doing and having a giggle about. Yes my wheels need cleaned, will be ordering some intense wheel cleaner from polishing bliss and some wax. and then they will be gleaming :-) Seeing how we aew on the subject how you get the rubbish off the mudflaps ive tried jet wash and degreaser? Brian, never fully got the chance to test the CG-Lock on the way home but it def feel alot better iam no longer rolling round in the seat. Martin

  18. Aww, tis all getting complicated now, Would i be better going for a 2.5" exhaust like the TSL thundercat. Then brining the system much more inline with the ppp which is a very similar set up. Martin

  20. lol one Lead boot ordered and tyre :-) Car has just had its 30k service so there should be a brand new set of plugs in her, unless you need to uprate the plugs?? Martin
  21. Right next month iam going to start buying bits for stage 1 Engine Mods. Iam just buying the parts just now and not fiiting them until i have them all for one big fitting season. So they will sit in my room for a while. Also if anyone can suggest cheaper places where i can get these parts it would be great and also if ive forgoton anything. So the List is as Follows :- 1. Walbro 255 Uprated Fuel Pump (TSL Motorsport) 2. APS Cold Air Induction Kit (WRC Technolgies) 3. Full APS 3" Exhaust to 4" tailpipe with Integrated 3" Cat (WRC Technolgies). Just to make sure ive not forgoton anything that i might need in this first stage. ONCE i have these bits an Andy F Remap will be Done. Cheers Martin
