Only once, A' road going from Shrewsbury to Aber. in wales, "following" a porsche 911 couldn't get round him due to road and as much as he tried he couldn't shake me, was a little too close and no air got to the front of the car and even then it only got 3/4. Both of us ran out of brakes though. he was so gutted a the petrol station in Aber. when I said it was standard. otherwise gauge stay's at half, no matter what.

Have spoke to insurance company and told them of the mods. They were not interested in the brakes, but for the induction and exhaust, £61 for 10 months of my year. So not too bad. All good now... Might go changing that induction now.

Have people informed there insrance company on there mods or not? If so what have they got and how much will it cost? As anyone had any problems with rear fog button? can depress it and it slightly illuminates but doesn't click and stay on? Alsom while depressed fog light doesn't come on.

Sorry about first message a liitle too quick with the Enter key... Any way. How have people gone on about telling there insurance company about Mods. I've done a few things in the last month and thought about telling them, to be on the safe side. Just wondered if anyone as any advice on what to say. How much do things cost? I pay £700 for me and the wife. Iam 26 and 3 years n.c.b, she's 24 and 3 years n.c.b. hence the price. Just wondered how much i expext to pay considering my mod's.

I'm reading this thread, with some excitement. I had a panasonic headunit and 8 disc changer in my MY98, it was ok, nothing special. Have replaced the standard stereo in my MY01, Panasonic sounds just as bad as standard, so must be speakers. Hope some one reply's as I could do with the advice too. Like you don't want a amp or sub. Hope iy's a simple job. jim
