  1. I did see that, when i was lookin at the LCD's, yer. Projector is ace, but i think i would never have it as good as i'd want it. Huge room, comfy chairs........enough beer..... []
  2. I have a Panny Plasma, but i think if i were to do it again, i'd try a good LCD. Only thing being, you start to get used to their little "problems". There isn't anything WRONG with it, but plasma's just don't get good black's and if there's a lot of small fast moving things, like smoke for instance, it gets a bit blocky. You don't notice it till you look for it, but i think the end scenes of Predator show it up worst....and it one of my fav films. [] Other than that, i can still walk into Dixons etc and tell myself, i still have the best picture compared to most in the shop! []
  3. Do you mean to say, that since you've had all the work done, including the headers, you haven't had it remapped? If so and unless you can watch the AFR and turn up/down the fuel pressure, to add more/less fuel, i seriously suggest you don't cane it. The standard ECU is good, but you still need to work with it, to make it safe/powerful.
  4. NGK PFR7B's and keep with the standard Subaru leads.
  5. You'll be fine mate. You'd be surprised how far you can go, on the Standard ECU, without a remap.
  6. It should do, Chris! It got swore enough at, anyway!!! [] []
  7. Sounds like it defo is the boost solenoid. Does the car go ok? Boosting ok?? Ontop of the drivers side suspension turret, is a couple of units. One has 3 pipes going to it. If you can, disconnect it and spray some carb cleaner in it and into the pipes to and from it. It may still click from time to time, but it's nothing to worry about, unless the car isn't going right.
  8. If since then it has boosted fine, it isn't my idea. Sounds more like the boost solenoid isn't working right or something. If it was a leak, it wouldn't have rejoined itself up or something. []
  9. Actuator arm could have came adrift from the penny arm. Remove the turbo heat shield to have a look.
  10. If you consider the ST, why not consider the RS? The newer Focus's don't have as much of an initial turbo kick, as the old ones. My brothers is still for sale. []
  11. Very true dave, forgot to put that in about the lack of turbo. Rev limit now 8400, weighs in at 1395 and has 298 bhp/ton. Looks absolutely stunning!!!! the new BMW Z4 M Coupe is also a nice piece of kit too. Pete, Torque is what you feel when you get shoved in the back of your seat, i would rather have a car with oodles of torque rather than massive bhp and low torque. I prefer the short squirts of power rather than sitting trying to break the land speed record on the motorways. At the end of the day how often do you drive at top end speeds on our roads, whereas how often do you get the chance to use the grunt on backroads in shorts blasts???? All down to driver/ pub preference i suppose [] Explained it lovely there, Andy. [H] WRC cars tell the whole story. 300BHP but what....double the amount of torque??! Try and work out, how they'd still beat the old Group-B cars hands down too! []
  12. No turbo attatched, AFAIK Andy, so it's all about revs....like the M3 etc. Besides how light it is, i dare say it's still good fun. []
  13. Both will fit fine, but a remap is needed.
  14. I thought you ment the y-shaped pipe under the intercooler? Either way, check this site out... www.raldes.co.uk ...cheaper and will have near enough everything in stock, providing it's blue you want. []
  15. I apologise for stating the obvious, but 300lbs ft at 0.6bar of boost and not fully mapped is awesome matey!!
  16. Nice innit? [] Try it 1.5 bar...........that's even nicer. lol
  17. Save for the Defi's, Chris. Your in no hurry to get gauges...better to get the best. [] Send me a text when, your ready to get the rest of the zorst fitted.[H]
  18. If only it always worked. []
  19. If it's the ones on the underside of the neck, get a correct length of extension bar and get underneath the car. Your arms will be falling off by the end of it, but at least you'll have them off. [] Hope to get the nut off with the stud still fixed to it though, as you can reuse this....it simply works as a bolt. []
  20. Whats the problem exactly? Getting the nuts loosened off? Just because they've been slackened before, doesn't mean they will come easily. Give it time, a large breaker bar and constantly work it back and forward, untill it's right off. Most likely, the thread will be guffed though.
  21. Or you could mod it yourself.... []
  22. I'll catch you online,Chris. []
  23. People hear one thing and take it as gospel.
  24. [] Next time you see it, try and have a good look at it. Youu see the bad parts of it. I just remember seeing the first pics of Powerstations black and white ones and thinking they looked awesome. Blue is a bit common. [][] Dunno yet. Really want a black wagon, but anything will be considered...apart from mint green! [] What about you? Got a decat downpipe yet?! []
