As for your question : No i haven't been in a type R at all however i have been round KH in my Alpina and i used to rally a MK1 Escort so I know about sideways. The SIDC days arte very well behaved and any silly behaviour is soon clamped down on. Don't worry. I do suggest you remove all your feminine dangly things from the windows though.

Right I will be there but as a speccie only. The problem I have found at these events is that you walk about without knowing who you are looking at. So I am pretty distinctive as I have very light curly red hair. So say hello.

town and County may be well respected by some but i have heard other things about them too. they are definately not the cheapest!

The Millfield has plenty of car parking and used to be very car friendly. The Windygates hosts the GMSC meet but is a bit short of car parking.

I am in Windygates. if a venue is a problem then how about the Millfield. That is where the East Fife Motor Club used to meet for over a decade.

Kipper....I live about a mile from the accident site and I did see a bit of the aftermath. Very nasty and if someone was doing 120 through a 30 then it is criminal. However I don't see the connection between that sort of behaviour and what the SIDC is about. (as I see it anyway). A Fife meet is well overdue and I don't see why someone else's criminal behaviour should affect me just because they drive the same kind of car as me. If that were the case no-one would ever drive a Nova again!

I need my Scoob serviced. I bought it from Aird Motors and would recommend them but I have moved to Fife and they are a bit too far away now. So my options seem to be Falkland and AWD. Any opinions good or bad? I am a SIDC member as I have just joined

Any ideas on a location yet? I am thinking of going down to Charterhall to check the repairs to the circuit as I am thinking of doing the rally there in April so I will be on the road.

Bad luck m8. Snow is always a lottery but experience is what counts. Had a big slide on sheet ice on the 21st but got it back. wheew. Drove over the drumochter last night and it was snowing hard. At those times you need a Sport!
