  4. << Strange that. Ever since i stopped posting the sh1t has stopped and everyone is mellowing out. Grant Resident Bad Guy >> Grant thats crap and you know it, since its been discussed at Meetings its died out. As ever its nice to see your still around.
  5. if you coming from Berwick its around 200miles in total. Thats £30 of optimax or a tank if your canning it
  6. Ah nothing m8, that would be fine for me. But I was just trying to give the far East Lothian and the borders people no excuss not to come. The west Lothian venus is a 100mile round trip for me let alone from dunbar or Berwick apon Tweed. Central edinburgh is no bother for me, just trying to get some more people reeled in as the Edinburgh/Lothians members seem thin on the ground compared to Glasgow or central/Perthshire. I may be wrong, but thats the impression I get from here.
  7. Ah welcome back to the fold m8 This you getting used to the low MPG again
  8. I see Scott Lowe has posted the price for the Carbon Fibre WRC one at a 4 figure number
  9. Hi Soob, I thought you were getting shot of yours? Anyway Chris let me know if it falls through
  10. Dam chris!!! I would take the spoiler of your hands at the end of the month!!! Dont need the boot lid though
  11. take it easy m8 Good to hear your ok
  12. From what I have seen and heard you can expect up to 2 year ban and 3 figure sum But it really depends on the conditions and his need of a car for life/work. Also I have heard of judges being more lenent for people that show they are sorry for what the done. I think its best to turn up at court as well to plead his case. Hes looking at ban, unless he can find a reason why it wouldn't be. How did they catch him? you really need to get as many details as possible. Was it a fixed camera, mobile, speed gun or a police car????
  13. Congratz m8, got mine in Janurary. Wanted one since I say McRae with his What are you from m8? Let us know as meets happen all the time. Lothians/Borders one is on the 17th m8.
  14. Chris the police are so different it goes down to the officer. Some are nice and understanding, some are pure arses and if you get them on a bad day they will take charge you to the full extent of the law. Take the Mad may run, we got stopped because someone was doing some dangerous driving and the police were called. They just gave us producers, they did know what happened and if they wanted they could have done us for the exhausts, other illegal stuff and some of the driving. After all it only takes 2 people making a complaint for the police to do someone for dangerous driving or another offence. But they didn't, they chatted to us and told us to take it easy. That?s what I call great policing. It just seems like you got one that was taking no prisoners
  15. Andy you forgot spooks you muppet 0.Spooks 1.ImprezaPete 2.ScoobyAndy
  16. Yeah I feel a great cleaning urge for sunday as my Cars in a bit of a state. needing well cleaned after the Mad May highland run. Fee you should come along to the Lothian/Edinburgh meet, meet all the members. A great bunch to chat with as a lot of them tons of knowledge on Scoobys Plus you get some good banter
  17. Hi, just a quick note. A few of the East Lothian/Borders members had said that some of the meetings are a bit far for them to attend. So I had a word with Scott (Spooks) at the last meeting. The result is that we are going to have the June one at the Craig house, Brewers Fayre just outside Musselburgh. Anyway I was hoping for a strong show from all you East Lothian and Borders based people to add to the Lothian?s meetings in the hope that we may have more in the future. I do hope that all the West Lothian?s/Glasgow people come as well. The Brewers Fayre is only 15 miles from the End of the M8 (Hermiston Gate) along the Edinburgh Bypass and the first turn off the A1 heading south. To all the new members get yourselves along and see what you?re missing as this lot are really friendly to us new people. It's a nice Pub with a good coupe of parking area just outside Musselburgh/Whitecraig so your cars will be nice and safe. Any comments or questions, feel free to post. Cheers Pete
  18. Nice Pics Brian. You not able to find a garage near you that would let you use a 4 post ramp? you would get it done a lot faster.
  19. hehe nice Brian, I did it as well. Last person had the engine bay in some state. I need to degrease the bay again and give it another clean, I think I will do it after the Scottish Rally on Saturday. Fee you going to do the rest of the underside of the car?

  21. << i was using the wee spray gun...... and got dripped on :/ Yeah they are nice flats.... just get some bams around though. Adam had his skyline bonnet walked across. Its just preventative maintanance Was hoping to have my smoked side and front indicators by sunday, but they havent arrived yet >> Yeah its a real pity, I used to drink at Sirius and the lighthouse a lot and there was some headcases down there. But I used to love working at The Scottish Executive building. I'm from Musselburgh, so it was handy for traveling. But im stuck at Broomhouse due my new work place being the centre for IT. You didn't have a MR2 or a TT before? I used always remember one parked there all the time. I used to love the All you could eat Mexican though
  22. Hehe nice work Fee, which must have been fun to do. Nice work though, takes a true enthusiast to do these sorts of things. I notice some of pics are just across from my old work place But I'm working up at Saughton house now. Nice set of flats, I used to walk past them until I got my Scooby
  23. Hi all I have just got my H&S downpipe, but its due to be fitted a week on Wednesday. So I thought I would wrap it to improve the temps in my engine bay. So im looking for advice, so far I have found Cooltek products and worked out I will need about 7m to wrap it with a 50% over lap. Anyone else got advice on how to do this? Cheers Pete
