Edinburgh central near grid lock, bypass hit as well for time and riots and marches everywhere!!!! Dam people

hi I live about edinburgh and I'm looking for a place to refurbish my WRX 17" alloys and re-colour them in Anthracite or gold. Anyone know some where locallyand what sort of prices? Also what am I to do about wheels until they get sorted? Anyone able to loan me a set of wheels or do they do that?

I work in the sighthill area of edinburgh, I see about 10-15 Police vans/riot vans going past my work about 1-2 times a day. Sometimes with sirens going !

I agree this thread does affect us. It also affects what we do with our cars, I for one am sick of this whole thing. If I remember correctly the up pipe runs from the Manifold to the turbo. Some impreza's have a crap up pipe and some have a Cat in them as well. I dont know about the WR1 m8, but a few models/years have 3 Cats and 1 is in that pipe.

Hi people Just got my new H&S down pipe fitted the day after wrapping it in 10m of Cooltech Heat wrap. Anyway me and ScoobyAndy did the job using lots of water to get it to shrink in further when it would dry off. Anyway I just picked it up From East Linton and headed up to ScoobyAndys. I stopped at the slip road end waiting to turn left when all I got was a large puff of white smoke/steam come out of the Scoob. I was like Anyway I drove it down to my friends and gave it rev to find the downpipe is smoking when the engine is rev'ed. Its a strange smell and it seems to be coming from the back of the turbo/down pipe join under the heat sheild. NO engine warning lights or anything. Just a smell and smoke, I knowe it was going to smell. But is the smoke normal?

Dave they have a 2.5 STI in the works from what I have heard. 350-400BHP Prodrive version I think the front is well dodgy from the pictures. If I like it I would go for the Import RA version, its could be the dogs nutz

M8 just check with them what your getting before buying them. Also I cant think they would be any different to what subaru would fit as I dont think they make all there own parts.

Dont get me wrong John, I know that all forums require some sort of supervision. Would a warning not been advisable first? I just disagree with locking his account, I did look at the image. But without knowning the content of the posts, all can see is Chris wanting to post on these threads. I really cant see anything wrong with that as I have done this from time to time. I'm sorry if it seem like im annoying, but I want to promote this club to friends and work colleagues. Also I can understand what you mean on the thread content that are posted.... But I dont have a interest in all threads on here, I dont have a problem with others having threads that I dont want to view. Its simple really, I dont read them and go onto another thread. I would say it just takes a bit of self control read or select the content from these forums as everyone gets a bit out of these for themselves. I think at the end of the day its all about tolerance for each other.
