Convoy will leave Exeter Services on the M5 at 06.00, then picking up cars at J26/27 and stopping at Sedgemoor Services leaving there at 07.00. Assymetrics all the way, just got a good price on Toyo T1S, no more sideways in the damp or wet, less noise and no tramlining at all, wish I had known about the difference between directional and assymetrical sooner. Bye bye 452s!!

Interesting as I am going back to Toyos after having tried Falkens and hated them. It all really depends on how your car is set up, your main roads that you use and your driving styles I think.

I tried to get the F1 Assys but was told they do not come in my size!! lol Did have an interesting conversation with a tyre supplier about the differences between asymetric and directional tyres and he has persuaded me!! I get a good price on some new tyres tomorrow.

Ok the autumn is nearly on us and most of the shows will be over and normal monthly drive outs will resume. I would like a few ideas of where you guys would like to drive to? I am based in South Devon so can go in any direction really except South!! My thoughts are to go somewhere centralish - maybe around the Tiverton drection BUT it is up to you guys to give some ideas. A date will also need to be set but I would prefer to do these things on a Sunday. Next is whether you guys would like a regular evening meet for food and a chinwag somewhere? hmmm, 452s have been pretty awful on my car and I have had little confidence in them in damp or wet conditions. My car ran better on Toyo T1Rs. All depends on suspension set up, roads, power and driving style i suppose.

Wilky, I could do with geometry set up figures for a standard ride height hawkeye if you have them, not the Subaru figures but a decent set for good handling.

The downpipe, fuel pump and remap will go a long way to getting you sorted. Brakes are a real necessity, if you can upgrade the calipers it would help. A good airfilter will help. I am running 360bhp on a 2.5" exhaust system, that may be a cheaper option for you. Your standard TMIC should be good for at least 350bhp. Not sure about the pinks as mine are bigger than yours as standard so I have not changed those. Cold air is good but not necessary imo. If you are not looking for massive power then that should do you.

Decent oil, good air filter, new oil filter with washer, do you need plugs? Brake pads? Brake, clutch and steering fluids?Scoobyworld and scoobyparts are a good place to look for ideas and prices. Maybe have your gearbox and diffs flushed and refilled? Have you had your air-con recharged? I use Miller oils. At the moment I have their CFS 5W40 in and that cost £41 off of e-bay.
