  1. WoooHooooo! Feel better now - Welsho you old git!
  2. I always get nervous when parking my car. Usually park in the furthest away spot using 2 spaces. Won't park in town unless I have too (If I can't get the wifes car). Sounds like Asda are being OK though! Always say S**t happens it's how it's dealt with that matters!
  3. I was very lucky I met a nice bobby as I did accelarate away from the lights a bit sharpish. Done a few naughty things lately so the talking to was a nice reminder to calm down a bit, although my daughter is good at keeping me under control. Been a few fatalities lately as well so makes you think - need to keep it for the track. Really need to get an out & out track car. I wonder if I'm the oldest boy racer in town - 40 [] Any advances on 40. Scooby doom and Stripe. Keep up the good work - Just hate Scamera vans don't think they are about safety more about money. Safety = Traffic cops ( I know can't believe I'm saying this), but not charging everyone left right and centre but by being a very visible deterent.
  4. Willing to help in any way I can. It's what Crimbo is really about. Kids want to give some pressies to other kids that don't have and that's why xmas is ace! []
  5. Nice policeman who stopped me yestaerday and kindly let me off with a talking to said I displayed poor driving skills! Quote " If there was an offence for driving like a twat I would book you" "Nice car and us young guys like to see nice cars - lets see you keep it that way" He wasn't that young but I didn't mention that to him I just smiled and thanked him! Policeman with a sense of humour [Y] The WPC was worth a rattle too! []
  6. Evo drivers are not Twats they are DONUTS! [] []
  7. No there the ones that drive Evo's
  8. Imy, Recieved my gear today, everything fits fine, well mines does - Julie will need to try hers on after work (or even better - tonight []) but I'm sure it will be fine. Thanks very much for you efforts. Gogsie
  9. Maybe a sheep appeared just out of shot [] Being serious, it doesn't matter if you help one or a hundred. It's about making a difference and you did just that. Well done Na - If a sheep had appeared you would have seen all the wellies and velcro gloves coming out. []
  10. Craig, I see Knockhill are attempting a world record involving the most cars donutting at the same time. Have you got your name down? []
  11. No I need them to see over the steering wheel [] So does Imy[] I have 3 booster seats and only 2 kids! [] Picked up the car one time from Japerformance and Simon had put one of the kids boosters on the drivers seat. Twat - just cause he's a lanky 6ft something. Watch out for the small guys![li]
  12. Don't tell Julie! She doesn't know I had them on the suite! [:-*]
  13. No I need them to see over the steering wheel []
  14. Got home the day and already taken pictures of wheels. Getting Tyres fitted tomorrow Goodyear GSD3 @ £113 each fitted which is cheaper than mytyres (including fitting) and I don't have to wait for delivery. If weather is good tomorrow I will get them on the car. Jingle Bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way.
  15. Is it just me or is the UK getting too ANAL? Haven't been able to get into SIDC because FORUMS were blocked on rig PC system. So no SIDC for last 10 days. Now I understand blocking explicit sites but not forums. If it ain't political correctness it's clock watching. What's happening? Is the UK turning into a Nanny state? Never get this if I'm working for a Italian / Spanish etc company. Basically any company that's not Brittish or American. Well I need to catch up with SIDC before the beaks track me down and shoot me at dawn []
  16. Going to miss the next one again. Don't get home until the 6th. Going by my rota reckon it will be Febuary before I can make one. :-(
  17. Sounds good mate and if he is happy to replace if damaged then I'm happy! I was thinking casher = boss doesn't know = no leg to stand on!!
  18. Get them fitted @ Altens Tyre Services - 3 of the workers there have Scoobies hence you are in good hands. There's a guy called Peter who fitted mine and torqued the bolts by hand with loving care. Top bloke who has done a few favours Cal See now thats what I'm talking about - getting a guy who cares. That's why I used to do them myself and I would put extra rubber between the bead breaker and the wheel, paper towel between the wheel grippers, use non corrosive lubricant and never use the air gun. Yeah I'm getting all excited talking about rubber and lubricants - Careful!!!
  19. Tried them but can get them locally for the same price IIRC. Infact I've just checked and the Goodyears are £44 dearer than mytyres and £2 dearer than local guy and Yokohamas are a whopping £96 dearer. So even if I pay the local guy £25 a pop to fit the tyres I will still be £71 per tyre cheaper buying them from mytyres and getting them fitted locally. Just shows you that it is worth shopping around.
  20. Cheers for that Craig much appreciated, only thing is and I don't want to sound ungrateful or cheeky here but as Cal says I need to be fussy who fits them - have they got the latest machine for doing lower profile tyres? The problem is at 412 squids a wheel (including delivery) if they get damaged I would be looking for the garage to replace them and if I get a casher can't really expect them to do that! Send me a PM mate. It's going to be around about the 8th of December - Get home on the 6th.
  21. Aye YRC - sheep shagger born and bred!!. But I reckon if I buy them from mytyres and get them fitted locally it will come out at the same price. Think it's between the Goodyears and the Yokohamas. [Y]
