  1. Pic is well smart. How much will you take to do my whole car ?
  2. Sorry for hijacking your post, but is there anywhere else you can recommend ? Think the time has come to sell my car too.
  3. Anyone heading to this ? Meant to be the first drag day of the year.
  4. Is this still going ahead, not a lot of people have comitted to going.
  5. Anymore details on it anywhere ?
  6. One of my bulbs have blown behind my dash. It is the full beam headlight one (I have taken the dash out and swapped it over with one of the indicator ones and it worked again so I know that it is the bulb thats at fault). I went round a few car accessory shops today and no one seems to have any. It is just like a tiny little bulb with a plastic bit on it (the bulb cannot be removed from the plastic holder). Its not really that important to be honest, but just being pedantic I suppose. Dont fancy going all the way to Subaru for something that is so insignificant and would probably loose in your pocket anyway. And I dont think scrappies would sell me this because it is part of the dashboard (I had problems before when I only wanted 'a small part' from a Ford Mondeo heater system. - They would only sell me the full thing). Any ideas where I could get one from ? (The say "Toshiba V2" on them.
  7. I am looking to service my Impreza shortly and was looking through the owners manuals for the specific grades of oil, etc. However I am still unsure of what to buy. Engine oil: Apparently Subaru recommend sw30 with the codes SL, SJ or SH on it. I haven't a clue what these letters mean. Anyone any ideas ? As far as I was concerned, the only thing you had to worry about synthetic and semi-synthetic oils as well as the viscosity. In addition to this; I have heard that 'Millers' oils are good for this type of engine. What is so special about it ? Or what other oils would you recommend ? Brake Fluid: It says DOT 3 and 4 are both suitable. Is there any difference or advantage using one over the other. I know about the dry and wet boiling points, but can't seen any benefit of using DOT (I have always used DOT 4 in all my other cars before). Diff Oil: Again, any suggestions ? Thanks in advance. P.S. The car is a 2002 WRX UK Spec.
  8. Cheers. The car has 4 pot calipers on the front. Need some more help, but I'll post it in another topic.
  9. The car in question is a 2002 WRX Bugeye. I am fairly new to Subaru and still unsure of what I am looking for in terms of trim levels, chassis and engine codes, and whatever else is specific to my own car. Pads: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m10b0s2653p48336 Discs: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m10b0s2652p30045 Will these be suitable for my vehicle ?
  10. Looking for a set of cheap pads and discs for an Impreza WRX 02. I dont do track days or anything so just looking for something cheap that will do me to get to work and back.
