  1. Cheer lads. Im in the middle of a 6. Spd conversion from an 02sti on my hawkeye wrx. I had everthing except the rear hubs as i was told my shafts would fit but they dont at the rear sti shafts are thicker so dont fit my hubs.and the ends cant bebchanged as the shafts are a different thickness. So i bought a set of hubs and was told the were complete but the twat sent me them and had cut the abs and handbrake cable.so i would need to completely strip down the hubs to replace them. So im about to send the hubs back and the garage im using have found a place that are going to make me new shafts that will fit the sti rear diff and my hawkeye rear hub.

  6. hi folks, well as some of you may know im currently changing my hawkeye wrx to a 6spd set up now im looking at various clutch and flywheel options. but im looking to try and maintain the OEM feel but with the beneift of taking more power. im currently running 355bhp and 355lb/ft and its my daily driver. i have no plans to increase the power as im very happy with what i have so what clutch do u have and what power are you running thanks in advance Tom

  10. johnny at elite is superb, ive had some work done by him before and wouldnt go anywhere else now
  11. cheers for the very helpful info guys, my gearbox code is TY754VG7AA. and its an 07 hawkeye wrx.so is it the pull type clutch i have then its ure fault arch for selling me that bloody vf43 i had a look at various options, spoke to guy who was breaking a GB270 but wanted £1000 for the gearbox as it was low mileage then spoke to stevie at scottish subarus and he had one from a 06 wrx £300 so was going to get that but after speaking to stevie we came up with a plan, i was really wanting a 6spd set up but wasnt wanting to waste a couple of grand so he knew of a bloke with an 02sti that had a ****ed engine, it was one of his customers cars and he couldnt afford to fix it,so we have went 50/50 to buy the car and i get everything i need for the 6 speed set up at a very cheap price compared to some people who are still wanting 2k and more for them. so he will strip it out over the next 2 wks and will pick up all items i need for the swap over, just wanted to make sure i was getting all the stuff i needed in one run as the scooby will be in bits waiting for the stuff, cant wait to get it done now,
