Chris an iceberg clipped our boat and we had to abandon ship. Vacation extended till I've patched her up, someone let slip I use to work on frigates and subs. Barry's welding skills required here! Tweeks will need to wait till home.

we had a problem similar to this on the rally car, sometimes it would start on the button, then it would decide to just turn over and not start, usually at the stage start !!!! but would start with a shove....????
turned out to be the cam sensor. fitted another and never had any issues since

After 17 months off the road and a double rebuild in that time thats the first 190 miles on the clock of the run in with no issueThe run home along the coastal roads were boring, slow, and tedious . But at the same time it felt good to be back behind the wheel again.
Mucho appreciated lads!!
-

Barry is disturbing .. Full stop !!
And yes Jac, he's getting old too
says "young" frank
-
That type of information is disturbing Barry, you sound like a old hand at busting steering locks
-
the steering lock is probably bolted on with sheer headed bolts, they tighten up to a set torque the snap the heads off so you cant get them out easily, but can be unscrewed with a hammer and a centre punch . then get another barrel/key/housing fitted with new bolts from a subaru dealer. i have a barrel/key/housing on the car i am breaking if you cant get one,
cheers
Big Thanks To Steve And Barry - Sw Motorsport
