Guys
I need some work done on my car and wondering who you recommend in and around the Lothians. I have previously used Hypertec and Extreme Motorsport.
But as the car is undrivable, wherever I go I'll have to arrange to get the car there. So if someone was closer this would be ideal.
I need new clutch and flywheel, and hopefully get the timing belt done at the same time. I have heard of a place in the Bush Estate near penicuik. Does anyone have any experience of them?
cheers Pav
sw motorsport is in the bush estate.................
clutch, flywheel and timing bet is no problem to steve, just give him a ring on 07956119962

heading from edinburgh turn right at the gowkley moss roundabout heading up past the copperbowl (old countryside ) restaurant. straight over mini roundabout, round right then left hand bends the take a left into the bush estate, between the gateposts, then over two speedbumps, then turn right after the white cottages and follow road round to the left................you have arrived

i bought a 2.0 block of pistonheads recently with not a lot of milage on it ,as a few of you know my bottom end had a fair wee rattle coming of it.so a replacement block had to be put in as i had piled up in the garage all the mods to take me well into the 300hp region , vf 35 tmic etc etc . anyway got the block in eventualy it was started run about in for a few days and began to rattle even worse than the old original block turns out the crank is tighter than a natts chuff. so moral of the story here buy cheap buy twice . now definately going down the road of a brand new 2.5 block nae second hand shi*e . roger clark is my first choice from sourcing a block , if anyone knows any where else i can find one yell out . my original plan was to put a 2.5 block in ......... fu**ing should have done in the first place
kenny
give steve at sw motorsport a ring, am sur he can sort you out with a forged 2.5

Dunc and I will be coming down on the Saturday evening, camping, drinking, doing the "curry event" on Sunday and head up early on Monday so if you need us to pass by SW Motorsport to pick up bits, etc that you break on Saturday let me know.
Chris - get onto 22b.com as Steve Darley (P20 SPD, Subaru team coordinator) has offered us all camping space at his farm, only a few miles from the event.
Add you name to the growing list, it's going to be a lot of fun
Russell

no , havent heard anything yet bob

need a co-driver frank.........................but none of this
-
Pm'd you Bob. Deffo looks to be a classic down pipe. It has been compared against newage and classic setups and matches classics perfectly. Measures 90mm shorter than newage downpipe. Seems you must have had a classic system on your wr1? Got it sorted now anyways. Welded on the extra length needed to make it fit! All good....
Ryan
problem now sorted

Not so "tig", he's too busy lightening his RA. Removal of rear spoiler not enough , he just deleated the boot lid complete. Job done I've got a feeling Frank's looking to make his motor quicker. He's ditching components that have no function other than harbouring speed. We'll need to hook up and discuss his problems, I feel being around me he's came down with the "NTGTFF" syndrome. For those not familiar with SW Motorsport techno babble,"NTGTFF" is a very serious condition. Several customers have been stricken with it, and up till now medical science hasn't found a cure for"NTGTFF". I feel I'm to blame for his radical change recently, should'nt have let him be so involved in my RA project.
PLEASE MEMBERS WE NEED TO HELP SAVE THE "FRAZ" FROM "NTGTFF" SYNDROME !!!
will be down tomorrow.?............today ?..........in the "scort" to sort out his problems............
will i need the plasma ???????

Frank - you are on form tonight m8
