  1. Looking at changing my brake pads have 6 Pot comp brakes on the front and newages Rear brakes of a STI 05.

    probally going to change all my brakes to AP fron and rear in the summer months if i can pull my self away from my motorbikes need for speed..

    so the question is what do you recommend as the car needs stopping power, and was not happy with the pads that came with the brakes ?

    it's no quick enough for big brakes yet chris, need over 300 horses before you need bigger brakes :rotfl::rotfl:

  2. Yeah its Tommo's old impreza and if i remember right he was at the fling last year. Lets hope il make it this year.

    Am going to be leaving the engine fairly just now and get the rest of the car sorted out first.

    Just ordered my T45 cage today (6-10 days) which will be getting fitted at SW Motorsport by barry (well not that iv asked him yet but am sure if i show him notes he will lol)

    need to get the dash mocked up with the various hole then get it sent of to get flocked.

    need to get

    suspention

    brakes

    seats and harnesses

    fuel set up

    baffled sump etc etc

    no problems craig, regarding fitting the cage,

    just need to work around my situation of becoming a father yesterday

    i will give you a bell at the start of next week bud

  3. To be honest, think I'll raise her a bit and try putting things back to original heights in a bit. Getting about just now, out weighs any damage or a £60 geometry setup again in spring time.

    Need somewhere dry to do now but! Sitting in the street with this snow is not very good.

    drive into one of the indoor car parks :laughing4::laughing4:

Andy had a wee shot and broke my car lol you bad man he is an animal ha ha hence the reason i never got my 10 that's my excuse this year and I'm sticking to it...;-)on a good note cheers Andy for taking your Sunday afternoon to try and help me out the car has got a 10 somewhere change of tyres required for next year..

    u will just have to borrow a set of his drag tyres and trailer the car up and give it the beans to get the times needed!!!!

    and if you brake a shaft.......trailer it home

  5. Cheers Barry, just had the thumbs up from steve 20 mins ago lol yes hopefully nothing breaks tommorow will take a steady drive up tommorow honest i will. Brakes will be good this time so bonus ...

  6. got to agree with A84 callender to fort william road, been up this road in the navara loads of times through glencoe, early morning is the best time, and scenery is breathtaking.

    subaru will be up there when its altogether and been mapped by mr.f.

    not done the applecross route yet but high on the "to do"list with the subaru
