  6. thanks robert just trying to get an idea as to what they are worth,and being a welder doesnt help lol possibly have a lot of dressed sandstone from door and window openings if anyone has an idea on these also.would be ideal if someone was building a house/garage or something any help is appreciated cheers
  7. got to agree with A84 callender to fort william road, been up this road in the navara loads of times through glencoe, early morning is the best time, and scenery is breathtaking. subaru will be up there when its altogether and been mapped by mr.f. not done the applecross route yet but high on the "to do"list with the subaru
  8. cheers john, ballachulish slate was mentioned by a slater who has already been using some of them to re-roof another part of the building and said they were in excellent condition and defo not the import stuff that they bring in now. rough count seems to be atleast 6000 but will be more for sure, just looking to get a half decent price for them but we were not sure what they were worth, but gives us a rough idea to work from thanks again john cheers
  9. got a large amount of scotch slates removed from an old building.anyone have any idea what they are worth and does anyone know who would be interested in buying them. the slates are various sizes and in good condition, but would need resized??i think thats the term that is used? cheers
  10. just got out of hospital chris, so all fabricating will have to wait for a couple of weeks til i get better, but i might try and get up on sunday, good luck and hope you get the results barry

  12. hey chris.... i think you were lucky as it could have came off and jammed inside the wheel on your run down the strip, which would have locked up the wheel...........then it would have been a "brown trouser moment"
