we had a problem similar to this on the rally car, sometimes it would start on the button, then it would decide to just turn over and not start, usually at the stage start !!!! but would start with a shove....???? turned out to be the cam sensor. fitted another and never had any issues since

jac, it was down at andy f on friday and made 466 bhp but needs a bigger air filter as the perrin supplied one is sh**e
