YES it will shorten the life of most turbo's out there. But there is turbos that can handle the hotter temps.

Why not use MSA Blue book 2010 rules for production road cars and modified cars. I would think that would be the fairest way for all.

Chris, My car is no way a 10 sec car, i have 520bhp Max and in 1.5 ton car/driver it's not going to happen in a newage with that power and a lard ass like mine I can't wait to see the outcome from yours, Scott, Peter, Colin's in March It's going to be fun

You can enter in to a championship and just do what ever event suits, that way you will have practically guaranteed there will be a space for you. It's free entry as well to newcomers

All joking aside, it's a big commitment both financialy and mentaly to do a season in any hill/sprint championship it's a big step but one that will give you one hell of a ride. I wish i did it years ago. As Phil said read both sites you will get all the info there. Always keep in mind this is grass roots motorsport and just a bit of fun at the weekend. Jac
