  2. Apexi's are the shizzle! HKS are tough to understand and set up... prob need a degree in maths from what i hear. Blitz, is a dual port solenoid? You will want a 3 port i would assume. Greddy? Pass! Call up people that set these cars up, they will point you in right direction and will be more than happy to sell you one too! Try AWD in perth, give them a call they recommended one to me. i cant remmeber the name of it, but it was none of those you mentioned
  3. Dont know it. Seems good bit of kit though. Same spec as mine roughly, power seems to be over estimated though. But you never know. Doesnt have a full spec list so cant really judge. Only thing to do is drive it! Nick

  5. I also got a 20g but its on a 2.5 Make full boost REALLY early, im pretty sure its under 3k, and will hold all day long. No idea about 18g.
  6. I always buy them from the net. Then get my local trusted garage to fit them. Will only take a £10 or so for them. Camskill usually the best, im yet to find any garage that will beat Camskill or blackcircles. Nick

  9. What one do you guys suggest then. HKS rubbish, Blitz are the same i thought. Just brands really.... So what one is the best functioning one. On the Mr2's we came from it was best just to run the standard one. If you wanted the noise just take the recirc pipe off. HKS seemed to work ok on them but the Blitz were rubbish.

  13. Cheers for the comments. Yeah the Type R sucked. had it a week and a half. Then did a straight swap for the Subaru. I am trying to get in contact with Andy right now, just regarding if he mapped it after the 2.5 conversion, He defo mapped it with the Power Fc controling the boost. Hoping to try a few things and see if they work. Then if no luck get it booked in to Andy, from what i understand he is super busy. The car is defo not running lean anyway There is an air fuel meter in the car, and it hitting the right points. Yup the car is down at Trenchard place. I dont actually live there, i live over the road, but i park my car in the carpark beside my bike. So that if the bike falls it falls into my car and not someone elses. From looking at the history the car used to be around my area, then went up to Perth area and is now back down. I have tried to call the previous owner when it was in my area about a few things, just really timing on receipt. Waiting on him getting back to me. Cheers Nick
  14. Hey guys. From what i gather this car used to belong to a member on here, Mike Smith.... well thats what i can see from a few receipts! Apparenlty he traded the last owner for his Merc. Anyway this is the spec that was advertised. Plenty receipts to go with it.... No idea whats on it! Lots seems to have been swapped and replaced! There is a boost issue which is confusing me, as after the conversion i have no idea if it is still running the Power FC. I would assume it would, but there is no recept for mapping after the conversion. Just before! Anyone know the car?
