  1. Only my mates. Although the jokes end when they cant keep up.
  2. Looks good! Find out about spec, history etc. nick
  3. Its high for its age if you consider 10k per year i suppose. Trawl through Pistonheads... plenty can be found. You wil find plenty WRX's But for that price, if you want an STI it will have to be a classic one. Nick
  4. Can get a nice newer WRX blob eye for that. Prob STI bugeye for that. Or a nice modified classic for that. Its really up to yourself what you want i suppose! Go try them all! see what you like! nick
  5. Lt. nick 'Norse' cunningham Kinda lame! I thought it would have been FAR better!
  6. Apexi's are the shizzle! HKS are tough to understand and set up... prob need a degree in maths from what i hear. Blitz, is a dual port solenoid? You will want a 3 port i would assume. Greddy? Pass! Call up people that set these cars up, they will point you in right direction and will be more than happy to sell you one too! Try AWD in perth, give them a call they recommended one to me. i cant remmeber the name of it, but it was none of those you mentioned
  7. Dont know it. Seems good bit of kit though. Same spec as mine roughly, power seems to be over estimated though. But you never know. Doesnt have a full spec list so cant really judge. Only thing to do is drive it! Nick
  8. Nice! Need to send that around work now! nick
  9. Looks nice mate! As been said before, if it goes pop launch in a 2.5! Nick
  10. I hate star trek i hate the movies, i hated the series, i hate trekies, i hate captain kirk, and i hate sci fi geeks. This one looks ok though! might go see it! Nick
  11. I also got a 20g but its on a 2.5 Make full boost REALLY early, im pretty sure its under 3k, and will hold all day long. No idea about 18g.
  12. Wow thats quick work! If that were me it would lie around till i got bored of then i would sell it, after i had done nothing to it........
  13. Not actually sure what mine is! It was £320 fully comp on my Mr2 turbo. Swapped to Scoob, extra £75 bucks. Reckon close to £600 per year. V5 Sti. 26 full no claims, no accidents. Will prob see if i can get i cheaper when it comes to renewals. nick
  14. Cant belive your even considering not going! I would be gone mate! No joke if i had the chance! Can i go? Nick
  15. I always buy them from the net. Then get my local trusted garage to fit them. Will only take a £10 or so for them. Camskill usually the best, im yet to find any garage that will beat Camskill or blackcircles. Nick
  16. I like it................. Im kidding! I really hate it! It actually looks worse than a barried Corsa
  17. White is awesome in those and the Hawkeyes! Reckon i need to get my hands on one! Just need to crack the engine out my one! nick
  18. Respect on the power front. Thats impressive.... But WHY that much in a FWD. That must be a nightmare! Can it even turn Nick
  19. You just use it at weekends? Mine is the daily driver.... a little overkill really but its a good laugh!.... cant get tiring though. Reckon im getting old! Good fun these things! nick
  20. Buy a bike AND an Sti. Cant go faster than a bike!
  21. Buy awesome tyres!!! So much faster after you get a really good set on. Doesnt matter what car you got, better tyres just changes it! Toyos are super grippy, so are Eagles, can get them both quite reasonably priced.
  22. Haahah! That went round our office at work! Gave me a good chuckle! nick
  23. What one do you guys suggest then. HKS rubbish, Blitz are the same i thought. Just brands really.... So what one is the best functioning one. On the Mr2's we came from it was best just to run the standard one. If you wanted the noise just take the recirc pipe off. HKS seemed to work ok on them but the Blitz were rubbish.
  24. When i bought mine Type R, i got embarassed by what looked like a WRX! But then who knows what was under the WRX... That was one thing that made my ditch the Type R! It wouldnt have happened like that in the old car! As i said, they are far from bad cars, but they are not all that! i can see why they are popular, they are right for some people but not right for others! A few things i didnt like: No low down torque. Twitchy handling (and i came from an Mr2) Horrible cheap interior (Classic scoob still cheap, but not THAT bad) Engine noise when not on the tek Everyone thought i was 17 But then i have a list of complaints about the Subaru too Nick
