After the highland fling i have noticed my windscreen is heavily speckled , the vision when it is sunny is appauling what can i use to clear it and make it clear again , i presume its due to the amount of fine gravel being thrown up and hitting my windscreen i need to get this sorted before we head to germany thanks kenny

As we all know the price of fuel is ripping the pish at the moment , I have a 500 mile a week commute or there abouts . Seeing as my bug is my only car I have to take it easy wae the loud pedal so I have been monitoring my fuel consumption the last wee while and driving slower than miss daisy , now this is where I'm confused I've been sitting between 50-55 mph on the motorway and returning about 26-29 mpg , last week I was told to drive slightly faster and that would return better mpg do I did , I have been sitting about 55-63 and my consumption did go ip to between 32-33mpg roughly but definitely an improvement . How can this be when I'm going faster and getting improved mpg , I dont understand this ..... Confused I am

Im sure there would be a fair response to this, but i think the calendar is pretty full on this year m8 esp with the nurburgring coming up , it could well be a go-er for next year if youd be prepared to wait , i would definately be up for this . kenny

I knackered my 2.0 bottom end , i went for a fully forged 2.5 i bought the block, rods ,pistons and arp studs all from america which cost about £1800 for the lot , used cometic coswothh head gaskets and stevie whitson done my heads for the 2.5 . craigdmcd on here bulit my engine may be worth also speaking to him m8 . I need to upgrade my discs and pads , was in initialy going to go with the god speed set up but i am hearing enough stories about warped discs coming from them that i am now pretty much put of .Been doing a bit of reading on various set ups , i would like the performance friction set up but at the moment thats not likely , so read a few articles on the black diamond brakes and pads ,max power seem to highly rate them along with a few other big companies . Question whats peoples thoughts on black diamond stuff , or just wait save more pennies and buy pf kit eventualy kenny

we dont have a seperate car park m8 , wherever there is a space thats your home for the day , the bumper was pulled of back in 2008 i know it was a nurse that done that but couldnt prove it , went to greenock police station as i knew what car she had but they were not interested , so staff car park would be no safer mark kenny

Finished my night shift this morning ,walked up behind my car and noticed yet again some **** has clipped the rear bumper and removed my paintwork , to date in the same car park i have had my front spoiler totally pulled of the brackets ,rear bumper cracked front wing scrapped, bonnet keyed and today this , not once has any of these morons left any contact details so yet again another paint job required ,Just once id like to catch someone doing this just once really hacked of kenny
