About G-ManUK

  1. new battery I think - I've got a GB270 as well and had the same issue a couple of months back... got the RAC out and the battery health check wasn't too healthy when we got it started!
  2. I touch goats mate.. Gutted for you with the Cat & worse when it's not ur fault...
  3. I thought mine was missing too on my Hawk, but it was jammed right down the bottom below the jack in that cavity behind the rear wheel arch.. (only discovered it after I'd had the spare out and looked all round etc.) Certainly worth another look in there!
  4. cars looking great Colin - even the before pics really show it off as well!!
  5. sure my hawk only has 1 reverse light - think it's the rear fog light in the same place on the other side...
  6. I remember as a youngster getting a lift in a Sierra Cosworth (the hatch one with the whale tail spoiler) and being amazed then... Be interesting to see what they do with it...
  7. I agree - mine got stuck yesterday morning - the screenwash fluid in there is strong enough to keep a wino happy!!!! (so the problem isn't with the fluid!) I just waited and left the car out all day - as it got slightly less cold, they freed up again..
  8. Woohoo! play time!
  9. Agree with Big 'D' - on my hawkeye, that's the pad for putting in the alarm/immobiliser override code if you have to open the doors manually with the key... (if the battery dies in the remote)
  10. My GB270.. and one that's not photoshopped!..
  11. think it's out start of September & WH Smith now seem to stock it if you want to save the wait for it arriving by post....
  12. superb result! if that was your practice session I'm sure the RB will look even better after getting the full treatment... If you want a blue car to practice on, just let me know
  13. I saw a black one a couple of weeks back parked at Waterloo Street, Glasgow - had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing right!!
  14. As my better half has just posted up the stats, just to say a big thanks to BobbyC - it was an excellent day and some fantastic scoobs on display...
  15. try here mate: http://www.ractyres.co.uk/ depends on the tread pattern you want, but you might get a good deal - if you choose the fully fitted etc. option, you can have a look to see if there's somebody you would trust to fit them (down this neck of the woods, Jim Dixon in Cumbernauld appear to be on the fitting list and they get a good reputation and are well recommended by a lot of people on here)
