My suspension doesnt feel right either. I live in Edinburgh so know all about the cobbles and uneven surfaces. Can't help you with what the noise is but if I was you I would take it back into A F Nobles and see what they say. Try and get a mechanic out with you to show him the noises you are experiencing.

I think the whine is tempremental. I had it a while back but not heard it since. For me it sounded like aerodynamics with the airflow going over the wing mirrors. Another memeber on here had the same noise but not sure if his has passed or not. Suspension upgrades with whiteline products definately a good way to go!

Supposidly got the front struts done about 1 month ago after a poping/knocking noise. Possible that the shockies have gone hence the reason why they are weak on heavy load so the shockies cant take the travel so it makes the wheel rub with the arch?

Do I have a suspension problem? What I mean is if I turn sharp right or left (but more right) then I get a grinding noise like the arch is rubbing on the wheel? It happens when the spring is compressed under load if I turn really sharp like a harpin so I'm not talking about normal street driving or B roads ect. I notice it alot more if I have passengers. The car is still under warrenty with Grieves for another 10 months so would it best to get a mechanic out with me from there so he can check what it really is? Advice is very much welcomed! Forgot to add - Car is a 52 (2003) blob eye STi with prodrive

Happy to help mate, just a shame it didnt work out on track on such a nice day. There is always another track day though, preferably a SIDC track day when I can come on too. Hope there is one soon! Hope you get this sorted mate and it doesnt happen again ...Oh and the BBQ was yum!

I thought it was a decent watch and nothing more. I thought there was a lack of cars and the film concentrated more on the Paul/Vin storyline. They were trying to track down the same man then joint forces. The new STi was in the last 30 mins but it looked pretty poor compared to some of the other cars on show. Worth a watch IMO

What do you mean by "nipping on"? I have a whinning/squelling noise that sounds like its definately wind related going over the wing mirrors at speeds over 90+mph - obviously not on the queens highways I must add

This must be a good thing living in a new built flat. Underground parking and then the added advantage of people not knowing what flat you went into if they wanted to steel the keys! Try and take it as a compliment but it must be hard watching them always thinking the worst.
