Just one quick note re: Welches. I got my current WRX SL from them and they do a great job. First couple of service stops and they recommended new discs and pads at the front. Fine. Next service stop 10k or so later, same recommendation. Fine. And then again. I pulled the chap on a couple of yrs into owning the car and pointed out "I should be getting more than 1 set of pads per disc set! Is there someone on your staff who can get the tech a second opinion? Sure enough, "Oh, yeah, everything is fine. Sorry." Might be nothing, but I thought it was a bit sus. And £10 for a "courtesy car". Not sure about that one either. But they know their stuff and I'll keep using them. PW

Sorry to barge in chaps, but I'm about to buy a Spec D from a dealer in Norwich. It's SV56 *** and has a butt load of prodrive kit on it. The dealer is currently replacing the turbo and hopefully I'll be picking it up in a week or two. Given SV is from up your way, I'm hoping the previous owner is on SIDC and can give the inside track on the car. I also posted this in the main forum () so sorry for the repeat. Thanks, PS

Morning guys and gals, Coming off the A14 toward newmarket at the M11. Heading Eastbound. New average speed cameras being put up. I suspect they'll link them to the ones at Barhill and run them mast Histon and Milton. I'll be updating the Road Angel shortly.

May need a correction here, but with a fully Subaru service history, I suspect that would strengthen a PX at a main dealer if you wanted to go newage. Duuno, worth a thought.

Yup, my 53 Blobeye WRX SL has a sunroof and heated leather seats. The sunroof is hard to spot from the side, front or rear. PW
