  1. Bingo it is highway through Green light. I will need to have a look through the small print. It is not a charge for cancelling the renewal late bacause 1.In order to renew you have to phone up and actually except the renewal. 2.I did it a day before my renewal was due. Will have to check it out as im not wanting my credit score affected for a measly £65. Could I tell them that the car has new clocks as the old ones broke? They are going to be hard pushed to prove otherwise aren't they?
  2. I recently renewed my insurance. It was when I went renew with the same company they informed me that I had gone over my agreed mileage by 1100 miles and that if I wanted to renew with them I would have to pay an extra £200 on top of what they quoted. So i told them i would not be renewing with them and she informed me I would still have to pay £65 because I had gone over my agreed mileage limit, this being 1 day before the years insurance runs out. I ignored this request and renewed my insurance with a different company. I have now received a letter saying they are going to get debt collectors involved if I don't pay the £65. So what do I do? Ignore it or pay it? I not bothered about the money but don't see why I have to pay £65 when I am no longer insured with them? Fair enough if I had made a claim but I haven't.

  11. Idealy I want a Spec 'C' as an everyday car and a track orientated Classic. Don't know if I want to wreck a RB5 and rip it to bits and turn it into a track car??? Or buy a V4 RA and use that instead?
  12. Oh dear mate im sure you will get it sorted. One of my mates is a panel beater/sprayer if your intrested?
  13. Who said that? Might keep the RB5 and buy a Spec C more like

  18. Well finally made a decision...................................... and ................................................. I hate evo's so Spec C blob or hawkeye it will be
  19. Na still thinking about it just now although been looking at Spec C's so that is another viable option
  20. If they would pull there finger out and start selling E85 I would just get mapped for that and run that all the time. Even Methanol is only 50p a litre so may just get mapped for a 30% mix as that would save me 15% on every tank of fuel ie. £15ish
  21. I have one also was a little tricky to fit and had to do a couple of wee brackets as it was rubbing in the bonnet vent and on the timing belt cover. Bit more lag but to be honest it is hard to tell because I fitted a different turbo at the same time as fitting the FMIC. Moist importantly it comes with decent clamps and I am yet to have a pipe blow off touch wood
  22. To be honest the only reason it needs new sills is because some t**t has been using a jack with a small surface area and knackered both the rear jacking points. They have been all dented and bashed since I bought the car but both sides have now developed holes. The rest of the underside of the car is okish condition no holes but could do witha good under seal again as the original stuff it falling off.
  23. Looks nice pal one note though ditch those german style embossed plates and get legal ones. I put a set on my last VAG vechicle and got pulled and fined after just 4 days.
  24. Quality mate I found the position of the gearstick weird when i drove a sport. Won't be that bad on fuel if you stay out the V-Tec
