I have the Haywood and Scott System (de-cat centre & back-box), still has the nice Impreza burble but isnt loud at all. I opted for the small silencer in the centre section, think that was an extra £20 or something? I put a down-pipe cat back in and it sounds lovely, makes a nice sound when you put the foot down. Also went for the round tip which I think looks miles better. Thumbs up from me.

This should be an ace turn-out if everyone turns up. Over 30 Scooby's is gonna be chaos!

Does a STi TMIC make any difference over a standard one like on my MY00 Uk turbo? And....is there meant to be a cat on the Up-pipe to the turbo? Not sure if mine has one

When I bought my car, it had a 3" de-cat exhaust, from Downpipe back. Since then I fitted a 2.5" exhaust and it's made it soo much better. 3" with both de-cats is far too much for my non-remapped UK turbo, ruins the drive of the car in my opinion.

Does anyone know how much a new heat-shield for the cross-over pipe is from Subaru? Mine has rusted right through and I can now see the actual pipe. If you dont follow me, its the pipe that you see when you look directly down in between the timing belt cover and radiator.

Maybe it doesnt have one? The only reason I ask is because the new Cat I bought had a hole for it. Will just put a bolt in it if my MY00 doesnt have one!

Yeah sorry, I know where it goes, need to find where abouts on the loom it comes from!

Ive just put a Cat back on my MY00 for next months MOT and I cant find the Temp Sensor. The De-Cat didnt have a plug-hole for it so it must have been removed or stashed somewhere underneath?? Can some one shed light on where it comes from? Cheers! Ryan.
