  1. Yeah they are still on mu classic the now, I only have the standard 4 pots underneath them at the moment.
  2. Picture of when I bought mine last year, they look very very similar to newage WRX alloys, except they are slightly sharper? I take it my car wouldnt have originally came with them?
  3. I have a 93 WRX if that somehow counts? But my MY00 2000 Turbo looks much better in my opinion!
  4. I have recently been given a 1993 WRX with a knackered bottom end. Not had a chance to get the sump off and have a look, but has anyone managed to get away with replacing the shells? If not, then would I be wise to replace the engine with a phase two? Obviously loom, intercooler, ecu etc aswell. Cheers! Ryan
  5. That was my first car aswell, engine seized. And...I also crashed my Escort GTi on that round about, slid it into a barrier.

  9. Came back on here after a week and these goggle ads seem to be popping everywhere? Anyway to shift them?
  10. Behind the alternator on the inlet manifold there is a black rubber plug, wiggle it off and pipe the guage into there. Take the power for the guage from somewhere like the stereo as that is fused.
  11. Sorry was a busy weekend and never got a chance to get on the internet! Cheers for all the help, I will look into get a MAF this week if people who said they have one want to sell one? The car sometimes wont even rev past 2k rpm, couldnt go any faster than 40mph driving back from Dundee which was embarrasing! Ive tried cleaning the MAF with Electronic Solvent cleaner and a fibre glass pen, but no joy. Also spoke to Dunc at HyperTech and he also says that its the MAF. Surely if they are so **** Subaru would have sorted that by now? Like upgraded them?
  12. Ive been searching alot of Scoob websites and so far these seem to get flagged... 1. Blocked Fuel Filter 2. Coil pack gone 3. Spark Gap (plugs) 4. Breaking down leads Where is this Boost Cut? Is it an ECU controlled safety precaution?
  13. It has a centre de-cat, but it hasnt been mapped or had the downpipe cat removed. It was running fine until a month or so ago. After I serviced it, which made me think the oil was too high, but wasnt. So now im stumped!! But the idea of a fuel problem does seem like a good idea!
  14. I unplugged the MAF and it didnt seem to make a difference (which I thought it would if it was knackered?) Is there any test for fuel cut? I have another Impreza, but its a K-reg, so any parts I can pull off that to test?
  15. Still cant get my MY00 to boost properly. The car wont rev past 4k rpm when moving, but will stationary (so something to do with the turbo). Ive cleaned and replaced the BCS, tested the actuator, ran the car with no actuator and just a guage to watch the pressure and still no joy. Ive removed the old BCS and replaced it with a HKS Boost Controller I had about. Still nothing. Just cant seem to shift it. The car really jumps back and forth when you try to get past 4k rpm, maybe thought it could be the over boost cut off? But I dont know where that is? Can anyone help, trying to avoid taking it to a garage as thats cheating. But it may come to it. Cheers for any help, Ryan.

  20. Im in need of Boost Control Solenoid for my MY00 UK Turbo I remember someone saying about an Impreza/Jap breakers in Glasgow area?? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Cheers Ryan.

  23. Ive just had a search and found an old SIDC thread, and it mentions that they dont make them anymore!
  24. I cant remember if the back-light is green? Ive got a feeling they may be orange? Not sure if the bulb can be replaced or not.
  25. I'm looking for a set of guages for my MY00 Uk Turbo. Im fussy, I would like the guages to be white, red needles and light up green. Just so it matches the rest of the dials. Looking for a Boost Guage, Volts and Oil Pressure. Preferably to replace the centre glove box on top of the dash, not a huge fan of pillar pods. Where/what I'm I best to look for. I know Defi's are all singing and dancing with the controller, but to be honest, I'm looking for something simple. Also, where is the best place to take the oil pressure from? As the volt guage is simple, as for the Boost. Many thanks! Ryan.
