Fuel protests don't seem to have any effect on these robbing *******s in government. They just seem to say "let the peasents have their say, then rob them anyway". I've just sold an 05 blobeye STi and got myself a GB270 WRX (number 141), mainly because the GB270 seems to give a few extra MPG and not much less performance. If the fuel hikes continue like they are doing I'll have to consider leaving the scoobs altogether

I think I've worked it out . If the scoob is a fully insured well looked after example with a tax disc and an insured driver with a licence you get a wave . If its a beat up piece of sh*te ( probably an import ) with no tax or insurance and driven by a licenceless p*ssed up chav with a burberry cap and a car full of chavettes you get an inbred stare if ur lucky

I had an experience last night I was waiting to get out of the estate where i work and it was hurling it down with rain. There was a queue of traffic piling up the road onto which i was trying to exit. A top man in a phase 2 lotus elise left me a gap and flashed me out. My REO70's gave me absolutely no grip whatsoever and the C diff couldn't work out where to put the power . i ended up going nowhere fast and having a bemused lotus driver right on my bumper with a queue of traffic behind him giving him grief for letting me out

Hello again Does anyone know of any reputable non main dealer scoob specialists within say 20 or 30 miles of southampton. I've got no issues at present with the scoob but the sort of money the main dealers were quoting for even routine stuff made my bloody eyes water

Nice one! I think if everyone did something similar the main dealers would start getting twitchy sphincters about their pricing policies . Loving the WRC spoiler on the back there very nice

I guess thats the price we have to pay for owning such nice cars though . I'm learning to ignore the majority of the abuse now I tune out and give em a friendly wave that seems to be much more effective than getting peed off with them

Ive finaly worked out why Subaru have gone with the new understated hatchback look. I have never been cut up, beeped, flashed, sworn at etc and had so many people in crappy deisels trying to be a hero at every junction, roundabout and set of lights since I've had my 05MY STI saloon . If the idiots can't tell what it is they cant be stupid about it . Good idea Subaru
