thing a found with ma last scooby the wheel cleaner went for the wheel nuts made them look weathered had to paint them with alu zinc paint from ma work before a sold it

hi can anyone tell me the correct gap for these? a got them from scoobyparts but they say gap to 0.8 and looking about folk say 0.7 ?

well when i got the car it had the following specs Exhaust headers modification+rapped RMC downpipe, de cat pipe thermal coated DBA brake discs Pagid blue pads all round Braided brake hoses AST suspension re mapped by scooby clinic, since then av fitted a Blitz nur spec R exhaust , it had a green filter in but could do with a new 1 so ordered a simota filter also putting a new set of NGK PFR 7B plugs in aswell

thats me got it a found if a took off the plastic pipe that comes from the airbox it let me lift the lid right up

probably just me but a couldnt get it to move scared a broke the box ,whoever last serviced it musta had the same problem and just left it

just tryed to lift it up slide the slot in and move in down to clip it in but it wont go , its an aftermarket green filter thats in and it seems to thick ad end up breaking the box trying to get it to go in , if a take the filter out the box closes like it should but thats not much good , al just need to order a proper subaru filter

went to check what kind of air filter a had there and noticed there is only 2 clips holding the airbox down is this correct? could u guys have a look on your cars and see if its the same doesnt seem right a have 2 clips on the side nearest the wing but nothing on the side next to the engine looks asif there should be clips there aswell ,av added a pic to try show what a mean thanks in advance

is the smooth stainless pipe u can get that goes from the panel filter any gd ?

Hi have an 02 sti type uk , just wondered should i fit a performance panel filter ? or go with an iduction kit ,whats gonna give me the best performance

honestly the degreaser does all the work the hose just rinses it off , spray it on and use a paint brush to rub it in , a used to use gunk but it stinks for days a use autoglym engine cleaner doesnt smell much , then spray engine dressing onit to get the shine if u dont do that after cleaning a find u get a white residue

after worring how a was gonna install it turned out no probs just needed the bigger t-piece from halfords heres some pics , a took the electrical feed off 1 of the wires that illuminates the fog light switches that way it only comes on when ur sidelights are on

Far as i know taken a feed off any of the inlet manafold pipes is ok just need to find 1 that fits my new t-piece

tell me about it av got a straight thro exhaust with modded headers and a blitz nur spec-r , pops n bangs but to be honest dunno if thats normal or if a maybe need 2 gap ma plugs or try another lamda sensor ,the cars been remapped before the blitz nur spec went on so could be that 2 a guess sounds but

meant to ask c u have an HKS blow off valve, a had ordered 1 then cancelled at the last minute after ad read a few threads but now been told the car would only run rich for a sec when u dump so it would be ok plus if it stalled just tighten up the screw , does ur sti run ok with it?

ad say thats right ma brother had said to fit onto where that valve thing is but the white t-piece a have was to small ,bought a bigger t-piece from halfords so hopefully that works , cheers for the pics much appreiated
