Sorry for this, but i cant seem to find an answer by searching.... Which grade of oil do you recommend for my car? It's a 2006 blobeye with 5000 miles it. The book says 5w30, but what do owners say? Cheers.

Hi- i've been browsing around here for a bit but never said hello- sorry. I've been driving a Honda Accord Type-R for almost 4 years but recently sold it for a very good price, so thought the time was right to get what i really wanted all along.... I looked around for an STi for over a month and finally bought one a week ago. I managed to find a March 2006 Blob-eye model, with PPP and loads of extras fitted at new, with only 3700 miles on it!! It was owned by an enthusiast who only drove it every second weekend or so. Because of the state of the market for scoobs just now, i managed to get it for a steal...... Oh, and it's blue with gold- you really have to, dont you?? I'm from Livignston but work in Edinburgh- if you see the car, feel free to wave (most other scoob drivers have already!!!). I'm really enjoying the car and plan to leave it as it is-it really is like new. I've been looking around the forum and cant believe how much info there is on here!! But as always, i'm sure i'll think of some questions at some point. Anyway, glad to be here.
