  1. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully see it sometime in person, i can't get in the college carpark.
  2. www.privateimports.co.uk I've had all of my wheels via John/Dan, excellent service.
  3. Something along those lines
  4. I could photoshop it onto the car for you to see if you have a side-on picture without any Graphics? I'd take a rough guesstimate at each side going about £20-30
  5. What about something like this John, in orange but with JW340 instead of the porsche writing? If it's something you would be interested in i can have it made up for cheap. Lemme know
  6. Gorgeous. Type Rs are awesome cars
  7. Replace "Shake N Bake" with "BoostdumpoffSneezin" :|
  8. Looks good to me John, but what the hell does Shake n Bake mean?
  9. Ah OK, i've got a friend called Jeff Shek and thought he could have possibly been the "J.Shek"
  10. You don't happen to know someone with a Black S14 on white wheels do you? Cars looking awesome.
  11. Kenneth is great, sorted my car out extremely quickly. Didn't know he did servicing and other things aside from alignment!
  12. The STI version will be lovely, hopefully the car won't weigh as much as the moon, like the 350z
  13. Nice one. I started going to HTUK meets just as you swapped the DC5 for the scooby i think. How does it compare to the DC5? Aside from the power difference?
  14. Didn't happen to own a DC5 previously did you? Cars looking good man.
  15. Are you running de-cats?
  16. Went to Kennys yesterday to get my Suspension and wheels setup, he managed to squeeze me in the same day i phoned because i needed it ASAP. Took the car down to be presented with two Porsches and an Elise, in good hands i thought. Left the car with him at around 10:30, got the phonecall to come and collect about half 3 - I picked the car up and left it at that, over the moon with the handling of the car, dramatically transformed, steering was noticeably better as was the feel for the car, back end was much more planted. He quoted me £65 on the initial call to book the car in, but only took £53.xx in the end. At around 6:30 (After buisness hours!) i get a call from Kenny himself apologising for not being there when i collected the car as he wanted to talk over the changes and suggested some camber adjusters for the front due to running close to -3 deg on the fronts. Unfortunately Civics don't come with these as standard Just thought I'd spread word of the great service. I'm sure alot of you already know of him due to the nature of the cars you drive, but another recommendation and report of the service won't go a miss. Gary
  17. I've found with the boxes i've used that being mechanically sympathetic on them (Matching revs on downshift, not dropping from 5th to say 3rd without matching the revs or ramming the synchros home) will help tenfold. Especially on track where you're going up/down the gears alot at high revs..
  18. You gave me into trouble for doing that very same thing a few months ago
  19. Anything but! Pretty much. It's called Compressor surge, the chirpy/flutter noise is air travelling back through the the turbo after the throttle plate closes. When you're watching Rally, listen to the cars. They give off MEGA flutter due to Anti-Lag, awesome noise! John, these pictures might help a bit. External - Internal - On a side note, can anyone tell me if any of the WRX/STI turbos are VV?
  20. You need to be careful with conventional canards over here. I've heard/seen a few stories of people being fined for them and being asked to remove them due to risk of injury. I guess they look at it in the same way an MOT tester would - Sharp protruding edges on the bumper. Shame IMO - i love how they look.
  21. Definatley Any idea what offset they are? I'm looking for something in the 32 region for my *cough*civic*cough* for caliper clearance. Cars looking great
  22. Are those MagBlue TE37s? *bows down*
  23. Col, you didn't happen to take a picture of two older white Civics? One would've had blue accenting and one would have had red. Both with matching wheels and nothing in the interiors.
  24. It's real. Does a very respectable time around Tsukuba too. Personally i'm not keen
  25. You're right - Looks better if they have some brakes behind them too. For a more realistic idea of what it'll look like
