Well, car has been off road for about a week now since i managed to totally bugger a wheel.... Anyways long story short, changing wheels, threaded studs, blah blah, put it into good friends garage for him to restud. Which he did no problem. Picked it up this morning, everything was ding-dang-doo, driving along lovely jubbley, car warms up, I give it some beans and the "Check Engine" light comes on..... WORRIED !! Well I get it to work, and let it sit idling as per usual, and the light goes off.... Now I know the car is overfueling, could this be the cause? Since I put the foot down, obviously it would overfuel more? Thus causing some sensor to go all PMT on me? Then by idling, it returned to normal? Or am i talking crap here guys? Muchos Gracias Michael

Nah, unless i'm going totally blind!! Was night time but pretty sure reg was S60 00BYS

Gutted I didn't make it :icon_rendeer: Was too busy trying to find wheels for my motah Well done for raising what you did guys!! -
Cheers guys, cheapest I've found is around 160 inc Vat. The only problem with the ones you linked to empty_heed, is that they are listing 15inch ones, the 17s are more expensive :icon_rendeer: Really appreciate help tho, i've pinched my mates spare wheels (my97 standard ones) so they'll get me through xmas till all prezzies etc are bought
-
Yeah but in outlaw, it was a late registration.... but it was clearly a my97...... DODGEY !!!! (x or v reg iirc)

Just thought i'd post up to say how helpful these guys have been. Sent a wheel in for fixing, so they sent it away to be welded. Unfortunately is was beyond repair, so they called me up to apologise (they were genuinely sorry) Since then Lisa for Chameleon has been phoning about for me trying to find a wheel.... Even though there was nothing for them to gain by doing so, they have continued to call everywhere they can to find me a wheel....Top folks, if they're commitment to finding me a wheel is the same as the work they do, then wow.... Well impressed. Thanks Chameleon Michael

Been told that mine is fooked, so seeking a single Ultraleggera (standard silver) for my classic, got a tyre waiting for it... Cheers guys Michael
-
Was it a change for the better ? What would you have kept in hindsight? Standard dv = no hesitation? etc etc Cheers mate. Michael
-
Well I had thought the dv was acting funny buggers before, when its hot (1hr/2hrs running) instead of just a tsssh i get more of a tss tss tsssh very quick little tssh then one proper tssh, if that makes sense lol. Bet your all making that noise to yourselves now

Well when I first got the car (having come from non turbo) It seemed to be really fast, now i've only had it about a month but already it either seems slower or I'm used to it? Having said that, i've had a play with an M reg sti and another uk turbo, ok the sti was faster, but not THAT much faster, as for the uk turbo, it seemed pretty much the same. Now obviously if it is running rich then I won't see any difference when driving hard? I have felt some hesitation when driving for an hour or 2 (haven't put the car under any strain when cold for obvious reasons so dont know if there is any probs when cold) The car smells like it may be running rich, best thing I can really do is take it to andy myself and have someone who knows his stuff tell me Cheers guys Michael
-
Just a curiousity question here really.... Got a MY00 Classic Uk Turbo, stainless backbox, still got cat etc everything standard (As far as I know) except for a bailey dump valve. Now the question part, ever since I got the car, i've been using V-Power, after about a week or so I noticed a nice "Pop" from the exhaust when accelerating hard from 2nd and then lifting off.... Another week passes and it still pops once in a blue moon, then a mate is driving behind me and sees a small flame along with said "Pop"..... Cool methinks!! Aaaanyways, the car (still on nothing but v-power) will pop and produce a small flame pretty much everytime I accelerate and lift off the loud pedal... Is this normal/bad/cool/whatever? Cheers me dears Michael
