About listeninstereo

  1. After John passed this onto a colleague, who I gave the details to again, I've heard nothing back after a day so I guess they aren't interested. TSL can have the money and give me a new car with some nice mods
  2. Just had a nice chat with him and he's going to come back with a few options for me. Seemed like a top guy!
  3. So what you're really saying is that I should take a trip to TSL and make her a new car again
  4. The reason I ask is that i've asked half a dozen times about a part ex value on mine against a PPP Hawkeye, an RB320 and a MY08 STI and have heard nothing back at all, despite talking to them on the phone, in person and sending a rather detailed email. I've always used this particular garage, Slipend Luton, and have found them very useful but I won't be using them again now as I find this lack of service shocking! Is this how companies who are on the brink behave? Madness! David
  5. Woke up this morning and they had popped back in so this is 100% to do with cold weather.
  6. Tried that but no good. I'll see how they are tomorrow.
  7. Just went out to start the car and noticed that the jets on the bumper are stuck open! I don't think the cold will make them come out so they must have been open while I was driving. They won't go back in with a gentle push so i'm not going to force it. Any ideas on what's happened and how I can fix it? David
  8. Really changes how you think about your car doesnt it? My Group N one makes me grin on a daily basis
  9. That'll impress any girl....
  10. That price seems about right and pretty good since you had your tracking done as well. I had mine in for a service today for the 20k and they dropped £55 from the usual place I get it done so it pays to ask around. A friend from Bawtry had his serviced at Donny too and they were pretty expensive on parts but servicing was always pretty good. Since yours is out of warranty now I don't think you'd lose anything taking it to a specialist. Impreza buyers know what they're looking for and if I saw TSL or Powerstation stamps all over a log book I would be more than happy as it shows research and taste. If it has "Jim's kwik fit and fiddle garage" then I would be less than impressed I think you should drive all the way down to Powerstation for your 50k service and get them to do a stage one, while they're changing your oil hehe you know it makes sense
  11. Worth noting that Clarkson bought his wife an Evo X a couple of months ago so he will be bias. Two very different cars for different tasks. EDIT - I do have to disagree with what BMWhere said about the steering though. i took out an 08 in May and there was about 5 degrees around straight ahead which had no feel at all which is very different to my 07. Aside from that and the roll i liked it, especially the economy mode for the Si-Drive - I'm clearly getting old!
  12. Here's what you'll get from powerstation: Street Legal Package 1 EcuTek Re-Map 3" Milltek Exhaust with Sports CAT K&N Filter ~320bhp @ £1399 inc. Comprehensive Warranty For more power you'll need a new fuel pump. That was the advice I got from PS today before they remembered I had a 2.5L which is fine up to 350bhp or so.
  13. Does anyone have details of the warranty that comes with the powerstation street and track packages? I'm just wondering if it essentially replaces the Subaru one which is quite key for me considering my STI is only a year old. Cheers! David
  14. I see your cars ever time I'm going into work just down the road from M&S. Are you guys on here? David
