  1. That has to have been the most laid back show I've ever been at. I only made one little phone call to get us in so I can't take much credit. It's the guys who turn up on the day who should take the credit & left a good impression of SIDC. Thanks guys for a brilliant day & heres to some more the same.
  2. Anytime or place suits me
  3. Cool1 they happy for us to just head up for 10am without any other special reservations? If so.. I'll pencil myself in 1. ScoUK 2. Peter w 3. 4.
  4. I spoke to Linda today & she said they could handle up to 8 cars & would have to be in by 10.00am to get everybody parked up So someone can start a list.
  5. I'd forgotten about this one. I was invited to take my Mondeo along (Touring car replica) I don't think there are any restrictions on who or what turns up as long as it adds an attraction to their show. I know the people who are running it so I'll find out more tomorrow.
  6. I can only add my condolenses to the families left behind. I don't if anybody remembers an accident on the Keith to Banff road about six weeks ago just outside Cornhill which claimed the life of a 17 year old lad. His mum works for me & every day I see the devastation & heartbreak an accident like that causes. It really is sole destroying. The 2 accidents were within 2 miles of each other.
  7. Thanks guys for presenting me with the trophy for the best New Age Impreza. That was only my second outing with SIDC. I think I only got the prize because my car was marginally cleaner than the rest. Hope to see you all again soon.
  8. Just nipped down the street to the Shell station in Keith to fill up. 123.9p
  9. Hi Rich. It must have been you that waved on your way to the burger van. Sorry I didn't recognise you By the way I'm from Keith If you ever in the town drop into the hardware store in Mid street. I'm there every day except Sunday.
  10. I was there yesterday as well. I didn't speak to anybody because wasn't sure who anyone was. I'm actualy in the fouth pic standing on the far right in the Ford jacket & my car is in the same pic blue STI next to the Leon. I wasn't driving it I gave to my youngest son for the day.I'm sorry I don't know any names but the guy with T25 was speaking to my other son who was there with his Evo MR FQ 340. Our cars are all as they left the factory but after yesterday I think thats about to change. There were some very quick cars on the strip well done guys. Now that I know some the cars I'll come up & have a chat next time. Peter W
  11. Yep Higgy well done that's some machine you 've got. My son was the the pilot of blue STI all day today. I think he was paired with yourself in his second run & we all know the result. Having said that for his first time on the strip he did very well.
  12. My STI is always serviced at T&C in Aberdeen. One of the mechanics (Brian Milne) stays in Huntly so I take the car to his house the night before & pick it up the following night. Saves me the hassle of taking it to Aberdeen & I have service booklet stamped by authorised Subaru dealer.
  13. I just wondered if anyone on here knows anything about the history of black GX Sport Wagon At Banchory Car Centre. It's an 05 plate 6000 mile absolutely mint condition. On my back into Aberdeen from Banchory I met three Scoobies & all the drivers gave me a wave (nice Guys) I was driving a blobeye STI blue with a cut down front number plate The first one I met I think was in Peterculter at traffic lights silver/grey 56 plate?? Second was nearer Aberdeen a blue classic & the third was a WR1 04 plate coming up from the Station Garage side of the Hanigan roundabout. I don't if it was any of you guys on here
  14. Some pictures as promised! Will get some better ones when i get time click thumbnails to make them bigger.
  15. Thanks for the warm welcome. I sold one of my mondeos an ST24 just over a year ago to buy the Scooby but I don't think I'll ever part with my BTCC replica too much time & money spent on building it. Gus I remember your car on the Scooby stand at Ingliston but I'm sorry I can't remember who I was taking to. I was looking at the post about the Elgin meet & I wasn't sure if it was going to be in Elgin or Nairn maybe someone could confirm. I should manage. I'll try & get pics of the Scooby up soon. Peter
  16. Oh I forgot to mention my other car is 2004 blue newage blobeye STI based around the Keith area
