  1. Nice! I bet the Mrs is well happy with you under her feet! Missed the car?
  2. Ill pop into a tool shop in Witney, and see if they have taps for sale on Fri/Sat. What you been up to on your days off?
  3. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, do you feel up to tapping the holes? Stoopid question really, judging by what you do for a job!! Do you fancy doing it on Sunday afternoon? I have all the instructions printed out from Ian at Godspeed and the guy i bought it from. Just need to procure an M14 tap. Unless you have any ideas where I can get one?
  4. Mk1 Golf Convertible (Clipper kit) in black. Cost me £2400, I had it before I passed my test, then within two months, some twot t-boned me and wroote it off. Insurance company paid out £3700 though.
  5. Whenever you are free, the calipers need the front painting, but apart from that, its ready to go. Beware, where the caliper bolts to the strut area, it has to be tapped to accept an M14 threaded bolt, as the calipers are too wide to deal with the nut and bolt setup. Edited to add: What I mean is whenever you fancy it and have enough spare time!
  6. Godspeed 335mm 4 pot upgrade!
  7. It certainly is. I got the kit plus the calipers, already set up with spacers etc. and some braided lines. Discs and pads in A1 condition. £300!
  8. My squealy brakes and some westcountry chav making my face hug the back of the passenger seat.
  9. This is what I have to go on!!
  10. Canada? Fixing planes? The closest I get is the bomb dump replacing handheld radios! Good to see you back, ready to get your hands dirty?
  11. Ive just bought a repair kit with washers screws heatsink compound etc, so will give that a go. Be prepared for my call for help soon though!!
  12. Hmmm..... Im trying to fix mine first. I have to tinker, its deadly!
  13. Forget it mate, the old boy is 3 1/2 now, so Microsoft giggled a bit, strung me along, then told me to foxtrot oscar!
  14. Mine is a heatissue as well, but the processor needs a mod to breathe more easily. Dare I ask, when is the next meet?
  15. I phoned xbox support. They laughed and put the phone done. So its in bits. Will attempt to do the mod to get it working this week. As for the bed, well I had to take this monstrosity of a cabin bed down, then build a slightly smaller one, all the time trying to keep the parts out of the way of the other bed. Knackered now. I wouldnt normally let people down at the last min, but I had a last minute shout on the bed and a hard decision to make. Sorry to the Berkshire lads and lasses. Cant have looked too good, only Stu being there (we usually have at least two!)
  16. £80-100 (well thats what I hope Ill get for mine!)
  17. Sorry mate, my day has been hell in a diy cell, and an expensive one when my xbox 360 was reported by the boy as having the red ring of death. Anyone know how to repair it?!
  18. Really sorry mate, cant make tomorrow. I have a bed being delivered tomorrow, and need to build it(gulp) before dusk. I was lookibg forward to some scran from the Harvester as well!
  19. Sounds like a plan. Then I can show you my (hopefully fitted) Godspeed 335 mm brake upgrade. It'll probably still be in my boot!
  20. I nearly had an ear removed from the sharpest moulded fin ever!
  21. Gay. I bet you dont even get stood up, and pretend to 'miss' the waves over 4 foot!
  22. Come on you Oxon owners, where are you all?
  23. Its a known problem with Bugeyes. I had it a couple of years ago, and was really worried about it. It seems Subaru have issued a newsletter to their dealers explaining how to sort it. It is pricey, and i wouldnt worry about it. Once it warms up the problem will go. Look halfway down the page of this threadSubaru Bulletin
  24. Everybody should go out for their 60th, after all.
