  1. Who does he think he is K*n F*cking Bl*ck? Quality bit of tyre wastage!
  2. Thats pathetic, that someone would put the sticker on their car, pretending it had been to the Gathering! Whoever you are, hang your head in shame. STI Pretender, what a good lad to hand your spare over, the Impreza family is tight, isnt it!

  8. Hi Iain, you know my situation, I would never commit due to travelling back and forth from Cosford, but come new year and new clutch, Ill be well up for some meets. I do like the couple of impromptu midweek meets we have had, but they are as suitable for some as they are unsuitable for others. Take Colin for instance, weekdays are good but weekends can be a problem. Then look at other guys who work all week, and can do any weekend. Factor in the small amount of regular Oxon posters and it must be frustrating to try and get something together. Do we need to invite other adjoining clubs to our meets to swell the numbers a bit. One of the guys from Swindon came to the last midweek meet, and it would be nice to see some new faces (if they drive Bugeyes it would be even better!) As for location, it is easy to find, easy to get to, (just off A34), food is good and they are accommodating. I personally dont see a need for change in that department. I will now peruse the poll and put my two penneth in.
  9. got to cosford without a hitch, was keeping an eye on the temp gauge though! As a bonus, the heater kicked in a lot quicker when i started up, that airlock must have been a meddlesome bubble! Thanks again!
  10. Once again, thanks to Iain for removing the airlock from my coolant system. The trip to Cosford on Sunday will now be less fraught with danger! Thanks again mate!
  11. Im taking mine to Lapland, but its a secret, so say nothing. No, Im looking at purchasing a bit more noise for mine, Ill keep you posted.
  12. Weight saving tactics!
  13. Ed, get rid of those socks! (last photo)
  14. It will come back, its P0420 'Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold', due to the free flowing nature of my system, ie. prodrive sportcat, prodrive 2nd cat delete and de-resonated centre section. It was recorded on a long journey at under 3k revs all the way, which I investigated on the good old web and discovered others have had this code flashed up when driving in this manner. Doesnt make sense to me but there you go!
  15. P0420 was the code. O2 sensor cat efficiency, latched on and cleared with the reader. Hasnt come back yet, but it was as I and Vimmy suspected.
  16. that is the way i see it too. I am going to pop into wearings by the back gate of camp, he is going to plug in his reader and see whats going on. Ill keep you posted!
  17. only the de-res. It may increase flow enough to push the sensor over the edge. I did use the shell there. All i need is the reader. When you say odb light do you mean the yellow light with the engine pic?
  18. im on v power. It came on and stayed on. I was doing a steady 60 on the m5, but ive since read that with a sportcat driving easy will sometimes cause the o2 sensor to read the flow out of range due to the faster flow of the exhaust gases. Just need to check its nothing more sinister! It still runs well!
  19. Hello all, my bug wrx threw up a cel on the way up to wolves on Sunday night in all that rain. Does anyone have a cel reader that i can read my code with this weekend?
  20. Its not just my imagination, then. That de-res does make a difference.
  21. I let you go(!), seeing that my front tyres are like slicks, and I thought your ego needed massaging.Nice to see you guys, especially the Swindon posse!
  22. Cheers for that Stu, even though I started the thread, Im not very good at maintaining the flow of information. See you in a few hours guys ( and girls if you are coming )
  23. Its like being defensive of Frankensteins Monster, but I love it, and with the de-res contre pipe, I love it even more.
  24. The difference between an armchair and a deckchair!
