  1. I know of a guy in my village that put a litre and a half of oil into his coolant . He had checked his dipstick and it was low and then decided to pour the oil into the expansion bottle and wondered why the level wanst coming up on the dip stick.
  2. I think the guy had been topping up the oil and had forgot to put the cap on and lost it after he drove off, when he discovered he had lost it he thought it would be a good idea to stuff something in the hole untill he go another cap.
  3. A thread from the MLR.... http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=303598 not a dig at you Welsho but i thought you would enjoy it.
  4. Hello and welcome, we met briefly at the meet. ( i was the one in the mondeo ) As Brian says you can expect an ever decreasing bank balance
  5. I am sure if you let us know the dates that you are here there will be plenty of people who will meet up with you guys and we could maybe even arrange to go on a run with you guys and show you some of our best roads and scenery.
  6. Gutted to see those pictures mate, like Imy said at least nobody was hurt. This is when you find out how good your insurance company is. Who are you insured with?
  7. Looking good Ultimate shine do you have a black van with your logo on it?
  8. ( cough ) any one with an AA membership ( cough )
  9. Not sure if you have as it doesnt say but you should drive both cars and see how they feel. Lots of people who buy wrx's end up spending lots on them to get them up to sti spec. ( me included on my last one )
  10. Hello and welcome , it was me that pointed you over to here from Scoobynet ( g7prs over there ). Hopefully somebody around the Edinburgh area will give you a hand. I dont have the technical knowledge or i would have offered a hand A couple of questions about your build, where are you planning on mounting the intercooler and what ecu are you using ( is it the one that goes with the donor engine ? ).
  11. Steve!!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.com/private-sale-gene...-346-343-a.html Cant see this one taking long to sell.
  12. Hello and welcome to the club Sandy. Get yourself along to this http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=142613 Keep a look out for the sidc track days and you will be more than welcome.
  13. Ah getting you mixed up with somebody else!
  14. Is there not a similar picture with a 22b in it as well?
  15. I will try and get along with sarefeet to some of the drift days this year.
  16. I have owned various makes and models over the years but the one that makes me smile the most has to be the 555. I think the fact its a second car means that i enjoy it even more after driving the gutless mondeo.
  17. Hello and welcome to the club. I am just over the river from you but work in Grangemouth so i will keep an eye out for the wagon. I have a mate thats has 200 sx ( sarefeet is his user name on the 200sx forums ). Love the lowrider it looks like its straight from a snoop dogg video.
  18. VF35 or a TD05 18G i would think would get you those figures. What car and other mods do you have?
  19. Very nice Mikey, i have been out quite a few times in my mates old s1 elise with the honda engine and there was very little that would keep with it round knockhill. ( that had a lot to do with the driver as well as the car though ) He also took me on a road run in his mates 2-11 and that was just nuts. ( if i every get the 6 numbers up i will buy one )
  20. The only difference between the two is about 20k though ( hatch and classic ) I moved from a newage to a classic sti and has been mentioned before the newage car i found to be more of an everyday car. The classic i only use on days off and weekends . If you are planning on using it as a track car then its a no brainer.
  21. I dont have one myself if i had the spare cash i would definately have one parked next to my classic. I assume you have read this thread from scoobynet. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general...ne-failure.html I would be wary of doing to much to it whilst it still has warrenty,
