  1. Make sure you've got a new gasket as well as this will need replacing. Scoobyworld sell genuine ones there about 8 quid.
  2. Took me about an hour with help from a mate. It's a wheel off job though, I jacked it up and did one at a time, but if you can borrow a ramp you can get all the wheels off in one go and it's quicker. Off the top of my head the Scoobyworld flaps were around £60 came with good brackets and easy to follow instructions and next day delivery. Hope this helps.
  3. It's a new age, but you get the idea. Black flaps withn white WRX logo from scoobyworld
  4. I went mate we ran a convoy of 12 of us up from Grantham and Newark. Had a good day and didn't realise till I got home my face is sun burnt to hell. still at least it didn't rain!!!
  5. Try A Plan. Just renewed mine £575 with all mods declared. I'm 27 with 6 years NCB.
  6. Can anyone tell me how to remove the cetre part of the dash where the clock is on a bug eye? I've tried getting it out to fit my new gauge pod, but can't seem to shift it and I don't want to force it and break the clips etc. Any help would be greatly received dying to get the gauges fitted.
  7. I live near Leicester and could possibly do it, but it's only a WRX and not an Sti. Pic attached
  8. My sister works one one of the big insurers and they have to pay a minimum of £35 to these comparison sites for every policy that is sold through them, hence the more expensive price than going direct. I have always found the prices on these site to be more than double that of what i've been quoted direct with companies, plus they harass you by phone and email I told the last guy from gocompare where to stick his phone after he rang me 8 times in one day.
  9. Alright mate. What figures did the re-map produce did you hit 300bhp like you were hoping?????
  10. Steer well clear. I had a set on mine the angel eye part broke after two weeks and all the silvering from behind the bulbs had peeled off after two months. Plus they are not road legal like the website I bought them from stated no side lights and you have to adapt them to get the indicators to work. I bought a proper morrette conversion afterwards and they are the nuts well worth the £400. I just wish i'd saved the £120 I spent on the first set and had put it towards the morrettes in the first palce.
  11. Neither off them, saw Ricardos motor at Newark yesterday. This one had a morrette light conversion sprayed up to match the car.
  12. Try Directline they do my 2002 bug eye for a shade under £500 . I'm 26 and have six years no claims so consider this to be extremly good, the just insist you have a cat 1 alarm and tracker fitted . Also try elephant they used to do it for £600 but had the same security stipulations. Hope this helps.
  13. Spotted Blue 02 Plate Bug Eye with Morrette conversion on Fletton Parkway peterborough and headed onto south bound A1. Sorry no wave was in company passatt pool car. Very nive looking bug eye you've got.
  14. I've got a bailey valve on mine and have had no problems what so ever with it. A lot of it is personal choice whether you want the noise or not. The only problem of note is the mrs moaning when I nail it up the high street and everyone turns round and looks at you everytime you change gear. You can combat this though with a set of tints!! Isn't driving a scooby great.
  15. This is my boy Woody as a pup, shame he's five and a half stone now and thinks he's a lap dog. Who said Dobermans were nasty!!!!
