Hi Craig, it would be superb if you can make this one for your normal monthly meet, obviously sort yourself out and let me know, we have a couple of months yet When you know however and you have decided to come, don't forget to get your names down on the list so I can warm up the venue. Won't be a problem though, it supports probably 200+ cars! Kent, Beds & Bucks crews should be coming, not 100% sure about Essex, Cambridge, Hampshire and Sussex yet though, but I haven't spoke to them directly yet. Keep me up-to-date. Cheers Mark
  2. Yeah i'm sure there will be, early days, invitations went out to the Beds, Bucks, Cambridge, Essex, Hampshire, Oxford and Sussex crews! I hope we can get more than 50 cars together as the venue would probably support 200+ cars

  8. Fellow enthusiasts, I am very pleased to invite you all to the Capital Scoobies "Fairmile" Meet on the 23rd March 2008 @ 12:00am. The venue is: The Fairmile Arms Portsmouth Road Cobham Surrey KT11 1BW The venue itself has excellent facilities for food and drinks and boasts a superb setting for a large club meet. The venue currently hosts regular meets for some very exclusive car clubs including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, MG, Camaro, Skylines, Lancers and many more classic car clubs. Given the great potential this venue offers, Capital Scoobies will be inviting all of the surrounding SIDC regions to participate in making this a memorable Subaru meet that will involve first class posing with some great photo opportunities. Further information about this meet including menus, photos and directions will follow on this thread. With easy access from the M25, I hope to see you all make the effort and show your support for what should be a superb day out for all concerned.   9. Well it's in the SW really so it probably wouldn't be perfect for everyone around London, but as all the London members i'm aware of live in SW its a good starting point. Nice venue for it though, can fit about 50 cars in there!
  10. Hello guys, Sorry for not responding earlier, been a bit busy. Hope you both had a good xmas/new years?!? Right, down to business, I think I may have found a regular meeting point for Capital Scoobies. It's called the Fairmile Arms just down the A3 in Cobham. I'm just finalising some details with the manager then i'll put a post up.

  17. The thankyou's were very deserved... ...well organised (Ace Cafe staff) and an excellent turnout from not only the Londoners but the Bucks and Kent Scooby crews. The Ace is an excellent venue and I look forward to organising some quarterly meets there. Nice pics by the way Barry, could I possibly use some for the write-up in True Grip? I really like the one which is made up of about 5 photos, top work!
  18. Very good, I like it! I think the fairest way of deciding our new shirt designs etc would be to hold a poll. Everyone post any ideas they have on this thread, then once we have a good range i'll start the poll. That way it gives me a chance to work on a design too

The venue will definatley be the Ace Cafe, just been trying to confirm the time but it seems the coordinator is out of the office. Will confirm with you all as soon as she replies. TDI sounds like a great suggestion, i'll certanly be up for seeing what power is on show, as well as meeting some more of the Kent Scoobies Crew, guess we can talk more about it on the 9th?!?
