What's brought these feelings on neil? I know you can get pissed off sometimes with cars people etc but don't change your car etc just cause of a bit of ill feeling between members chin up mate things can and will only get better ( bet Gordon brown hopes so anyway) Neil

wilky has nailed it! its all about being proactive as if i had been a bit more like that my car may not have become a target. I got lazy as most folk do, left the fascia on my new dvd headunit no external steering lock on(they smashed the oe one to bits) things are different now after the fact changing the drive to fit a security pole camera security lights the buzzers etc etc at the end of the day unless we all change our ways they will still try and get away with our pride and joys neil

That could be a lot of ****e really I could pop on a set of gloves drive about in my car then post it on you tube to tell my scally mates I'm hard as cause I stole a Subaru!! Pass it to the police at least please Neil

need to order my clutch tomorrow but still stuck at what type ive seen a keenly priced paddle clutch but whats the advantage to this over say an exeddy organic standard one? neil

As of this afternoon the car should fingers crossed be back on the road all parts sourced easily and at much cheapness! thanks to all the offers of bits etc I'll keep you in mind just incase too so if anybody is offered a jvc DVD with screen headunit give us a shout!! Neil

Yeah your right mate a bit peeved but not too bad cause as you say it's still here bad enough knowing someone was in it and lurking Bout outside the house would have felt worse if they had got it started and made off in it not that they would have got far knackered clutch and no fuel at all in it! Cheers everybody just can't be a***d with all the hassle fixing it but I'll get there and hopefully it will be like new mikey I've heard the same just today though and a spate of house break ins too I've got the two cars in the drive and my van blocking them in! Going to beef up the security round my gaff too could do with it I've just been careless recently I left the stereo fascia on which wouldn't have helped and not put the krook lock on either going to look at one of those security posts as well as a camera! after whats happened this morning the nice gents have broke the steering lock on the car how and what do i need to do to fix this part? neil

Yeah heard a bit about that too Gus plus the local herbal farm found about ten doors up! never touched morags car or anybody else I'm this street but someones just up the road was broken into They got in with no door damage No alarm going off brust the back seat trying to get in to the boot steering lock is fecked a bit pissed off to say the least but at least I've still got the car! I'm off to buy a CCTV set up tonight been meaning to get one for ages also been talking about another dog too! Neil

Was woken this morning by one of my neighbours who is a policeman looked out the window to see the man at the door and my car lying in the middle of the street( I'll post pics later) they have got in some how tried to start the car but failed smashed the steering cowl the ignition stole my new DVD head unit left my new Oakley shades! Must be to fashionble for the thieving scum *******s!!! Just waiting on the police coming to check for finger prints etc but my car is in a sorry looking state battery dead also now! this was how it was found at 5.45 this morning and how it is now partially stripped but cat get the steering wheel boss off help anyone? and thanks to arch for that exhaust went on a treat but had to make a new hanger for it but alls well cheers neil

will do mate but more than likely be kept till end of year maybe next year its replacement will hopefully be a forester sti this ones got a nice newish sti exhaust !! i love driving it as a long car but you cant beat the classic for a good b road blast or at least it will be soon when the new clutch comes!! neil p.s thanks for the comments guys

davie thats sort of half the plan strip it somewhat and track it but looking for a different sort of look and ed ive got the same wheels on mine at the mo but in black!! neil
