  1. Hi Nick and welcome, glad you decided to join us In the past Prodrive did a lot of back to back tests with 17s and 18s and in their opinion 17s give the best compromise of performance and ride comfort I have coilovers and 17s on my classic, I run 215/40 tyres. My car is quite low and as a result I have had to have my rear arches rolled. When ordering your wheels, if you ask for the fitment for your specific car then generally they will come with the right offset, the only thing you will need to weatch is that the wheel clears the caliper. I had this issue with mine, I swapped my gold 16" wheels the car came with for a set of 17" Speedline Chronos. I then upgraded the front brakes to 4 pots from a 2005 WRX and the Speedlines would not clear the caliper but by this time I had sold the standard gold 16s which would have cleared, so I had to run with 5mm spacers on for a few weeks while I got the money together and found a set of wheels that would clear. I eventually bought a set of black 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s from Revolution , Keith there knows his stuff and the serive is second to none Looking forward to seeing your pics
  2. Nice one Nickey, will get Tim to give you a shout about fitting you in the schedule

  4. short answer, not as often as some of us would like unfortunately over recent times fewer people have turned up to meets meaning fewer meets have taken place however, I am trying to implement plans to grow meets and get more people involved, watch this space
  5. alright mate, welcome to do the conversion you are talking about you would need to change more than just the lights, it would need a whole front end conversion, panels, bumpers and all. not really worth it in my opinion, just buy a blobeye or hawkeye if thats the look you want IMO the car you are looking at is a fair bit over priced given the current market, have a look at similar cars on pistonheads and autotrader to see what they are selling for right now, the market is awash with Imprezas and the a*** has fallen out of the market with the resession so there are bargins to be had out there keep looking and good luck with the search

  9. Tim @ Envy Professional Valeting (the chap who detailed my car for me last October) is coming over in a few months for a holiday to watch the RBS Manx Rally but is bringing his van full of tricks so I was wondering who would be interested in having their car professionally detailed. 14. Hi, you may have noticed from my profile and the section I posted these in, I am in the Isle of Man. Due to this its not like I could meet you somewhere for the exchange and carraige costs would be stupid on these for me to send them to you. It was for this reason I did not post them in the general for sale section. If you really want them I would need to look into the costs of sending but as I say it would not be cheap. , carraige would be on top of the price I am asking,
