  1. Thanks for the help chaps, much appreciated. Euan im not sure what the fusable link looks like tbh( useless at these things). Battery is okay as tried it on my van and it worked nae bother. My ignition key wont be the problem i dont htink as it has been de-chipped to allow for the gsm alarm to be fitted( have already checked with manufacturer an they say the alarm/immob wont be affected by a flat battery, and wont affect the electrics of the car either).   3. Eh, soryy mate, No and No im afraid. Did however phone Iain Grieves and the guy suggested possible blown fuse, one of the biggies ie 50A or 80A. Have checked the 50's an theyre ok but cant remove or see properly the 80A to check it. Iain

As above, looking for some pointers as to the following problem: Car has been off the road for a few weeks, but i had been turning it over every couiple of days, however, went out the other day and ....Nothing. battery flat methought so tried to charge battery, but its Fubar. Got a new battery this morning , hooked it up but still nothing, not a dickey bird so to speak, no dash lights, no ignition, no nothing!!!! Anyone got any ideas on this,please, as im no very tech minded so any help would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers folks Iain

  9. I have been experiencing similair symptons altho not exactly the same and i have found that the o/s/f track rod end is on its way out. Dont kmow if this is a possibility on yours mate? Iain

  11. I have rac trackstar fitted on my classic and when i got it fitted at Ray Smiths in Edinburgh the guy told me that it does indeed have a 'sleep' mode which reduces the charge taken from the battery. Iain
  12. I also have cold weather morning starting problems............... But the car is okay. Iain (actually thats no strictly true.. the car is fubar and may be getting punted very shortly )
