  1. Was reading (and replied to) the post from RSS 55, and it got me to thinking about forum names decals on windows. now someone stop me if this subject has already been broached, but what is the general consensus on the idea of forum names on your scoob? [:$] also if there was enough interest , has anyone tried to find out about a group buy from a signwriters/makers for this? If this sounds stupid then feel free to tell me, if not lets have opinions/ideas. cheers[Y] iain
  2. Nothign at all, iain, actually think its quite a good idea, as it helps identify fellow sidc members, but joe public doesnt know who you are( unless they come on here as aguest [:^)]).i would imagine folks will have different opinions on this? cheers iain

  8. Good point mate, tbh the reason i went for that one in particular was that the factory fitted cobra alarm had given up the ghost an i figured if i was goin to spend hard earned cash getting the car the way i want it then i should install something that will 'prtotect my investement'. obviously not everyone has that money to spend, or indeed wants to go as far as the clifford gsm. hope you get something sorted zeolite. [Y] cheers Iain
  9. Alternatively, you could get installed what i have just had fitted, the clifford gsm, which does all of the above, and can also be registerd as a tracking device if reqd. downside? the cost. £450 for alarm plus £150 for fitting. [] Iain

  12. Dont use a sponge mate, they hold onto grit etc and cant properly be cleaned. get yourself a lambswool mitt, and use the two bucket method. i would also suggest getting a couple of microfibre mitts to wash the lower panels, an keep the lambswool for the top half of the car. [Y]As for products, as oobster says, polished bliss is as good as any if not better for sourcing products, especially the blackfire range. hope this helps. cheers Iain
