  1. Hi mate if you look at your caliper there is 2 pins that hold the pads in on these pins are 2 R pins if you remove them you can then remove the main pins once you have done this remove the steel plate and then your pads should just lift out if there sticky its just a case of work at them with pliers till they come out the top. As for your Calipers there is 2 bolts on the back of the hub remove them and the caliper will lift off .
  2. Ah thats not sounding to hopfull al keep an eye out for a set of dials i wonder if the ones of a hawk eye sti would fit ??

I Had a mad day once and all i did was drive the car like its ment to be driven and i averaged 9 miles to a gallon but oh boy i smiled for days after thats what Subarus are for fun fun fun IMHO

  13. Sorry to keep on harpin on about this but i think your lucky you even get v power let alone at the price you do . All orkney has to offer as i found out tonight is 95 ron or diesel, Petrol at £1.09.9 and diesel at £1.12.9. I filled the car up from just under quarter o a tank costing £52 and i still have to add octane booster to that as the petrol is so poor again sorry to moan guys

  17. Hi all i have just been informed today that the local bobbys have recived one of this damn exhaust noise level meters and they have been stopping all the young drivers around town which include a few Scoobs. What im concerned about is that one of the Scoobs that was stopped and fined is no louder than my car and he has been told to change his exhaust but the thing is on my car its the Prodrive back box and a hayward and scott system as its the back box that determins the noise of your car what will i do when im stopped as thats the back box the car left Subaru with as new.
  18. £1.07 for 95 ron in orkney

  20. I was told that there must be love involved with doing that for her but i think its cos i just cant stand sseing a car that dirty
  21. Welcome mate enjoy
  22. yeah the polish is hard to take off and get it streak free but i cheated for the 3rd bit and used the NXT Gen wax which leaves a nicer finish and is easier to work with but all in all I'm happy with the results. I did the same to the Scoob. Ya don't realize how bad they need cleaned till ya do it
  23. After a long time of seeing the mud hanging off my fiancé's car I'd had enough this car wis gonna get a damn good clean. I used Meguires 3 stage paint stuff and i think it made a big difference but have a look and see for your selfs.
  24. Thats what i was told with the MG as the system would not be able to build the correct pressure to operate. But its only a thought. Maybe could be a water pump???
  25. It could still be the head gasket My old MG ZR 160 had a blowen head gasket but no one could find a problem with it but it had the exact same symtoms as your describing and what it was as the car warmed up it let off bubbles in to the water then after a long run it would be ok till the next time you started the car . Or you could just check your pressure cap it might just be that gone faulty. Hope this helps
