I've had my car only a couple of weeks now and i've been noticing a scraping sound when on (or nearing) full lock.sometimes it scapes sometimes it doesn't.. and when I had a look, it looks like the front bumper is come away a little from the car, just where the wheel would scrape. i'm thinking that this isn't good and I really should do something about it huh? i'll get a pic of this up to show. Also, the other day I had a car full of people and when I went reasonably fastish round a corner there would be a hell of a terrible noise coming from the back wheels, like they too are scraping on the arches. The car doesn't seem any more lowered than other scoobies i've seen, and the rims are 18" but there's 35mm low profiles on there to compensate. what going on. I thought this might be a scooby known issue or something cos when I was buying, I test drove one scoob that had the rear noise REALLY badly round corners.. so I want to fix mine before it gets as bad as that! I will be going, but I don't think i'll be going on track or anything, only had the car for a couple of weeks and i'll be later than driver sign on and many other excuses I could think of hehe. please do come and say hello to me, cos i won't know anyone! i'm the long haired lout with the grey scoob and bling rims.

I will partake in other threads soon, just well busy just now! yeah Andy, the Cruise control was a dream, sometimes took on a life of its own which was exciting, (when you set it it goes to the last speed it was set at I figured out!) This is my first powerful car and it can be difficult to keep it at a sensible speed on long journeys. Scoobaroo - knockhill sounds great! but not if its a marques day cos I don't wanna pay 75 buck to go round the track. I won't be racing it tht hard for a while too.. is it a scooby day or a hothatch day? oh and thanks 4hero!

Just scanning the front page it seems that there are loads of threads with newbies saying hello, so I just thought i'd jump on the bandwagon and do the same! I live in central Edinburgh and i've just bought my second Scoob. Went all the way down to halifax to get it last week, and drove it back up with the cruise control set on 80 in the pissing rain, fun! Its a 2000 wrx import and its in totally mint condition... it came out the factory at 280BHP and the only mod is the ninja pipe. Think over time i'll do a remap or something else subtle, I don't think i'll go silly on it though. i'm sooooo pleased with it its not true. Anyway, hi there, and i look forward to chatting and getting advice etc in the future! ps how do I post pictures?
