  4. Everyone has their own tastes. some like classics and some like newage. Some like blue some like white, some like cats some like dogs
  5. Got the bill in from Arnold Clark today. £10165 [] Not sure what all that was on, going to ask my insurance for itemised so i know exactly what has been replaced.

  9. Thanx everyone, looking forward to letting some of you see it at santa cruise on sunday. You will all know it's me as i have added something to it that will stand out.
  10. Got her back today and every panel looks spot on although it's never stopped raining so i can't check the paint. 2 new alloys [], front and back brake calipers [], 2 tyres etc. insurance were only putting 2 new tyres on it so i had to pay for the other 2 and was charged £350 [] On the drive home i took it easy doing 65-70 on dual carraigway and had a good laugh as a nissan micra went screaming past me. Good to have her back but dissapointed at having to shell out £950 at this time of year. Iain.

  12. Too right, thought we were going to blow over driving home in it yest []

  14. Well after 3 1/2 long weeks it finaly time to pick up my car tomorrow. Phoned them this morning to see if it was ready as they said the begining of this week and was told it's in the service department getting a good look over before they hand it back. Sounds like thay are doing a really good job with it putting it on 4wd tracking systems to double check everything is ok and that they have not missed anything. Going to get it 1st thing in the morning and give it a good check over myself and make sure everything is on straight, paint matches, genuine parts etc. Will post back up when i get back home with it and let you know if all is well. Gonna drive it like an OAP on the way home as i'm bleep scared.
  15. Have to agree that the pics don't really do them justice
  16. Sorry to hear that bud, can't see why they wouldn't pay for it. I hate seeing the trolleys getting pushed back to the store, they take far too many with them. Hope it all gets sorted soon.
  17. Saw these rims in the flesh yest and can say the car is simply stunning with them on. Think Alison was hinting to me that i should get some. Can't afford them at the moment []
  18. Nice looking motor you got there, always been a fan of 299's on classics and the cage is sweet

  23. I don't blame people for wanting a hurl in this beast, grin factor was amazing and that's just in the passenger seat..
  24. Looked like a good turn-out of cars there and a great day, well done to everyone.
  25. OH MY GOD, Alison and myself got a hurl in blue thunder today and what an experience it was. Huge credit to ya craig for building such a machine, felt a wee bit sick after the doughnuts tho so did Alison [+o(] it also brought back memories of spinning out in mine. I'm happy with the power i have at the moment and will take a while before i step it up to anything near what blue thunder has. Thanx again craig. Alison and Iain. [][][][][][][][][]
