Have put blocks under the bonnet hinges so it sit like that and enables more heat to escape the engine bay. Quite a popular thing with rs cars.

Looking to get £3250 for my escort for the last 2 months but no takers [:'(] Not in a hurry for the money but it would always help. The gtir has rather high mileage compared to my s2 and does not appear to be in as good condition, power is the only thing the gtir has going for it so far. Think i should just be patient.

Well i did drill holes in the bonnet of my escort for the bonnet pins so i might give this a shot []

Really feel for ya buddy, since getting my car back and gave it a few washes i have been noticing more and more stone chips. Also a small dent on top of the rear wing where my boot flew open when i crashed. No polishing is going to get that out so looks like the tooth pick, touch-up paint and sand paper is gonna have to come out before it starts rusting. I got a tyre pressure checker for xmas and seems to read spot on after going to the garage and blowing up my tyres i checked it with gauge and both read the same, was worried it may give false readings. Roll on 2007
