I aint a full member but still do the social side of things At the last Knockhill i spotted Westlothianscoobs old wagon there and someone about to jump in. I knew this was a newbie and hollered out across the pit area. It was AlanK and was about to head home but cause some idiot hollered at him, he decided to sit down with a few other members for a warm cuppa and he got to know a few of us. Now after chatting on MSN a couple of times we are due to get married in the summer.....................[] Quality []

I had the dreaded knocking noise on my 53plate STI. Got the strut replaced no worries. I`ve now got a 55plate STI with more of a tapping noise. Same side (NSR), keep thinking its the jack but I defo feel its NOT the strut as its not got that feeling. There was talk of the Trackstar motion sensor ball making a noise, anyone else heard this?

I`m not a member of the SIDC but joined the forum to talk to Scottish Scooby owners. I have owned Imprezas since 2000 (on my 4th now) and feel I could share some of my knowledge and learn more about the cars aswell. I also post on ScoobyNet which I find useful for various things but would like to attend meets and go for runs etc. Does not actually being a member mean that I can`t come along to the meets? I`ve been to SIDC track days on many occasions but not so much recently due to work commitments. I find if your cars not parked in the Pit Lane you`re abit of an outsider (only my opinion of course), and these days they seem to be more Lotus owners. Hope to meet some of you soon in the Glasgow/Central areas. []

I had the WR Sport backbox on my 1st Impreza but ended up hating the looks. As well as being oval it also has a diagonal cut so the top juts out. []

I`m on my 4th Turbo 2000 - MY 2000 couldn`t wipe the smile of my face! P1 - MY 2001 bonkers, but ended up with gearbox problems WRX STI Type UK - MY 2003 IMO boring after a P1 and now my favourite WRX STI Type UK PPP [] ">

I had the PIAA driving lamps and I remember them being alot bigger than the fog lights they replaced. If this helps with the fitment question?

Out of interest at the Meets do you just hang about and chat or go for a run aswell?

Its funny now, but at half 3 in the morning someone telling you your car`s off is scary! Maybe Santa was needing AWD. []

I remember they phoned me up in the middle of the night to ask if my car had been moved without my consent. After panicking then checking the car I told them everything was fine. They then told me they were just making sure as my car was shown to be........ wait for it.......... at the North Pole!!!!!!!!!!!! No joke. []

I had a Forge VTA on my P1, it felt a bit jerky and I got a bit bored with the noise (what I bought it for) after a while. I personally wouldn`t get another one. Standard one does the job just fine. []

I`ll hopefuuly be there, just spectating and hanging around the pit lane trying to blag a lap or 2 off you nice people. []
