Yes defo do the brakes and handeling first... you need to be able to stop the car. Im not that fussed about the BHP im interested in the fun factor and once that dies i need a quick fix again lol so its a mod to help it out..Ive diven a 350 and my 470 suby and to tell you the truth i was hitting 1 bar of boost by 2700 revs at 1.8 bar of boost Stevie will tell you the acceleration was mad on they windy road it was still bye bye ... it all depends on the set up the car.. Hopefully ive covered everything now to Transmission, brakes, suspension the list never ends... but to put it on the track and over take cars that are big money is worth every penny...
-
That's very true Fai 17 however you missed another part of that set up the driver, he/she plays a massive part in it iv'e seen lads with big BHP on the track and dont know how to utilise the power so there is many parts to it and will agree it is an endless money pit and you can vouch for that Fai17 But hey thats what modding is all about... our cars are not race cars there just a a bit modified lol...

Yes Steve has had a bit of a free rain to do what he has wanted, tbh with the expense of my cash lol however i knew what i wanted and he pointed me in the right direction and im sure he does that with all his customers....wish i would of listened to him he said i should of been happy with the power it was producing and my words were mmmmmmm are you ever happy with what you got... ..see ya soon

Thats very true JW its expensive i guess however i am running big power ..all the best for what ever you choose my friend.. Chris
-
I can understand about the noise and again it all about what power he will be running mines will be over the 500bhp and wouldnt change it i have driven 6 speed and PPG and to swap to 6 speed just for the noise was not a winner for me, my friends car is in Scooby Clinic finishing of his 2.33 on the P1 and has advised him PPG so it all about what you prefere i guess and what's rite for the car...
-
Hi mate im running the straight cutt PPG kit in mines however it is a classic and tbh, it all depends on the use of the car if you want to use it for track would defo go for the PPG, my oppinion most of the tracks iv'e been on i have never been in 5th Gear never mind 6, and also what power your car is running they are supposed to be bullet proof up too 700bhp... the noise i love theres nothing better than the wineing of the PPG... you do get use to it, it can be annoying when normal daily driving tho....and you do get some funny stares ive actually had some one come up to me in the garage said there is a funny noise coming of your car lol bless her cotton socks... its a 3 thumbs up for me Chris..

Crackin P1, should make decent power with that set up, the black pipes look very nice done well done .. Chris

Looking good Peter...

Well JW what can i say i was in the same train of thought you have right now, will i sell and move on or will i keep my bundle of joy, weighed up the pros and cons and tbh the cons out weighed the pros, however untill i sat in the seat and strapped that harness on, and turned the key and the sound of that burble just gave me goose bumps... just think about it seriously after all that hard sweat and effort that you have made the car today will vanish, and if its kept in the North you will be dissapointed when ever you see it, so on that note keep it and have fun and be happy with the power you have .....when funds do become available then add the bits and peices there is no rush my friend rome wasnt built in a day .....look forward to seeing you on the next track day
-
Looking good Kenny nice wheels..
-
Well i got to admit that is stunning love it, i know its from the dark side, i can appreciate the effort that has gone into the car to make it look so good, also the power is not so bad, i was looking into the dark side recently, however think i would miss the burble of my suby thats one of the reason i bought it the sound of the straight 4, but again each to there own if you like it go for it .... will look good in my rear view mirror tho he he teasin... Chris
